i was at the show last night. tom was fantastic- two solid hours of great music and hilarious cantankerous rambling. the orpheum is also a truly gorgeous venue. as for phoenix in june, however... like visiting the surface of the sun.
Come On Up to the House. Agh.
I feel kinda bad for TomAZ that he played "Cemetary Polka" if he didn't get to go...

Tom Waits is a fucking asshole.
He opened with Lucinda?? Come to LA already!! Half his songs are about LA anyways!
seriously-- it seemed like at least half the audience at the first phoenix show had flown in from LA. our entire hotel (2 blocks from the venue) was filled with waits concert-goers.
If his records didn't indicate it already, it is clear that Tom Waits does whatever the fuck he wants.
oh you west coast people are spoiled enough. bout time arizona gets some love.
Tom Waits is playing in Dallas right now.
If it wasnt a hundred dollars I might be there.
I go to shows and festivals.
Over 1000 youtube videos from concerts
