It was awesome indeed. It was their first time at Coachella and I kept going and ordering more stuff to hopefully convince them to come back.![]()
They were in the closest Heineken beer garden area to the main entrance, where the dome was.
They're one of those "traveling food truck" establishments, and their site will show you where they're headed next and when.
That one vendor that had the 'T-Bone' sandwich with turkey, bacon, cheese and veggies! Someone help me remember what their names were!

I had the t-bone. that shit was LEGIT. Their homemade chips were awesome too.
I also very much enjoyed the lamb gyro at the "Greek Gyro" place between the Gobi and Outdcoor, and of course the motherfucking HOT DOG TAMALES in the beer garden between the Main and Outdoor....FUCK those were delicious.

My beloved CURRY was renamed INDIAN this year. Still awesome. Still spicy.
Between Outdoor and Gobi the veggie tempah? wrap was just delicious. Tasted so fresh and just made. Was a nice change from all of the fried stuff.
I have no idea who those people were. It looked like a chopped down version of Sweet Leaf. Drank those blueberry and strawberry smoothies all weekend long. They used to offer a tempah burger that was so delicious. I asked on Friday if they were going to have tempah burgers. She told me yes. They never did offer them.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Same. I was trying to use the bathrooms there and I looked around and was instantly depressed that I hadn't found all those food trucks earlier.
Anyways, I had maybe 7-8 slices of Spicy Pie starting with two different trips on Thursday night. I also had an amazing rack of pork ribs with a delicious BBQ sauce in the food court, and the Farmer's Market was fantastic...three boxes of berries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries) for $5? Done and done.
The fish taco place was amazing, had it twice. Definitely hit the spot.
The shrimp Pimp was freaking great as well, had a Po Boy. So good.
Nothing says coachella like a slice of spicy pie.
The fish tacos in the camp were really great too.
I had a pulled pork sandwich one day that was $10 and pretty meh.
Do I even want to know what this is?

I think I saw that along the fence by the Sahara tent.
The Shrimp Pimp truck! I basically lived there the whole weekend, their drunken shrimp tacos we're amazing
The bacon wrapped hot dogs in the beer garden were bomb.
I heart Spicy Pie. My friends and I made a song about it back on '06.
I also love the fresh (not Fresher's) lemonade with the lemon in it.. ooohhhhh so yummy, took me a whole day to find it! sneaky.
Also loved the Asian BBQ and the Bfast Burrito in campgrounds that had the bfast chimichanga. Absolutely delectable. The green drinks were yummers too.
why no popsicles?

^^Those were AMAZING!!! Shared an order with my boyfriend Saturday night and it was like a slice of heaven. (Wouldn't suggest eating those in the heat of the day...seems like a recipe for disaster)
In other food news...
had copious amounts of Spicy Pie. Of course it didn't dissappoint.
Had a T-Bone sandwich over by the Terrace, it was excellent.
Had a bite of the boyfriend's Ruth's Chris burger...juicy perfection.
everything else (including that terrible breakfast buffet) sucked.
not at once, but
spicy pie + crab fries + ben & jerrys ice cream bars
...yes.
