Also, why would you measure dicks when you're dickless?
Good point, Randy. Ron (and Breakjaw and tom) have probably forgotten more shows than you've been to.
Hunting has been part of our society since the first Europeans came over and shot buffalo and Native Americans and whatnot.

Sappy
sadly there is no way I could possibly list every concert I went to. I don't even know I could pick them out of a list of all time concerts. lol. but my first was U2 in 1987.
.................................................. ..............
She added the phrase "meany head" to my profile.I hardly think I'm an attention whore.I train birds of prey and am I licensed falconer
When I was a kid I tagged along with my older sister to see Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" tour, Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison tour", and U2, though I can't quite remember the name of their tour...
Those may have been my first big concerts, I can't remember anything before that.
I'll bet I'm the only one that saw Olivia Newton-John on the "Physical" tour.
But,I don't think I even come close to Supre in number of concerts.I've maybe been to 30 or 40 in my busiest year, when I had money, lived in LA/OC,and didn't work.
Recently, though,I've slowed WAY down. This past year for me:
Coachella
Jesu/Wolves In The Throne Room at the Sets (where I met John)
and last night Stevie Wonder at Jobing.com Arena
And I wouldn't be at all surprised to see John (mountmccabe) be the one who has seen the most shows of everyone (except Ron).

if i had my way, id go to a show every night, but just dont have the time so i plan on around 5-10 per year. ill have to make a list since it goes back a bit. first shows were in 1989. saw george strait in sacramento. later that year i saw the stones and living colour at the oakland stadium...
I will one up you and add the setlists to each one of the shows i attended or as much info as I could get. Bands in () means i didnt see them at the event. All other bands under festivals listed are ones i actually fully saw.

it's one thing to post your entire concert history, but please don't post the set lists of your entire concert history. that's just mad.
Hey, don't make fun of me!
Also once I update with the concert tickets I just found I may upload my Excel file for people to peruse.
Haha Olivia Newton-John. Also I would be surprised if others don't have me beat. At my best I've been in the 50-60 a year range and I've only maintained that pace for say 4 years. 2001 and back I doubt I ever topped 15.
Dani and Jeff have me beat, most certainly. Chris and Chris probably do too.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
The Rhythym Nation show was by far the most over the top event I have ever been apart of, I am glad I can say I went to that, even though I was really young. I remember taking an ex girlfriend to the Velvet Rope tour years later and secretly expecting the same over the top awesomeness but it paled in comparison to Rhythym Nation.
Me either - no freakin way. I know I prolly have most beat due to age, and due to the fact I haven't slowed down on my concert going - ever. it would be a really hard task though - my earliest ticket stubs I've managed to hang onto are Echo and Bunnymen 1987, The Cure 1987, U2 1987, INXS 1987, R.E.M. 1988, Crowded House 1988, 10,000 Maniacs 1988, Violent Femmes 1988.
My first show was a good one though.
The Clash - April 1984 - Philadelphia Spectrum, I was 13 and went with the older kids from the neighborhood that could drive.
I've prolly averaged 30-40 shows a year for the last 17 years. That's just a guess though, I'm not counting all the festivals at all. Crazy to think about.

I drink a lot, which means I go to bars a lot. Most of the people I like to drink with have the same taste in music as me, so it only makes sense that we go drinking at places where there is live music. There is no way I could count up all of those shows from my first concert in 1992 (Tesla, of course)... or even 1994 when I turned 17 and was finally able to get into two rock clubs in Dallas... through now. ESPECIALLY the years from 1996-2004 (college and law school) when I was going out four nights a week.
Hunting has been part of our society since the first Europeans came over and shot buffalo and Native Americans and whatnot.

Sappy
i wish i had a list or remembered better .... on an earlier thread i had forgotten T Rex and i saw them a couple of times and they arent your average bar band or whatever ... damn my brain .... but i have bored the boardwith my concerts so i will just sit back and enjoy everyone else's lists which are quite amazing .... my biggest year might have been 05 when we went to a number of outdoor fests, and a total of about 120 different shows ... ah the good ole days ... canx**

[QUOTE=suprefan;365535]Good one Brian, thats all you got? Next year when I have Radiohead a dozen times NOBODY will say jack s**t. QUOTE]
except about how much of a loser you are for thinking anyone cares if you see a band a dozen times.
My first show was Jethro Tull in around '84 and my most recent show was UNKLE last month. There are hundreds of shows that fall in between. It's too much work to reflect, and it will never end. I LOVE live music.
Yes, that was ricockulous.
I saw Ben Harper a few years back and there was this guy sitting next to us who was writing down every song for Jack Johnson who opened. I wanted to pee on his li'l piece of paper. Then he left before Ben even played. I was flummoxed. What a waste of time, energy and money.
