Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards of Winter
Trying to stay current or cool I always was looking for Christmas music that was semi contemporary 20 years ago I picked up the LP entitled 3 Ships by Jon Anderson . It is considered a Christmas record although some might disagree . I havent played it in years because my turntable is broken (no needle) but I still think of that LP during Christmas time it was in collaboration with Vangelis (Papathanassiou, guess that is why he is known as Vangelis also did award winning Chariots of Fire) and Anderson . They also did another better LP entitled Three Friends of Mr. Cairo which some of you probably have heard . Oh btw, for the total novices here, Jon Anderson was the lead singer for Yes and other groups canx** ..
Have Another Hit Of Colorado Sunshine
Run D.M.C. - Christmas in Hollis
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I was driving home from yesterday, and hit a preset on my XM. I forgot my wife had programmed in a couple of the Christmas channels. Whatever came on was gawdawful, and I was just about to switch again when on came some surf-band called Swamp Zombies doing the theme to "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians". Within 10 seconds, I'm bouncing up and down yelling "YOU SPELL IT S-A-N-T-A-C-L-A-U-S...HOORAY FOR SANTY CLAUS!" Made my whole frickin' day.
