    this sounds awesome..

Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme called in to The Kevin & Bean Show this morning (July 7) to announce the band’s first Halloween show at The Forum, which Homme plans to make a reoccurring event in Los Angeles.
“This is our end of the road show basically. We’ve been on tour for… it’ll be almost 2 years by then. I would go and see The Cramps every Halloween. It was just this great tradition to go see them and now that we lost Lux Interior way too early we thought ‘well, we should really attack the Forum and try to make Halloween wonderful… try to make it ours and do something wonderful.’”
When asked whether the show would become an annual event, Homme responded, “We are actually. I think one of the main things about it is that we want it to be anything except just another concert. We’ve taken every idea humanly possible, dressed it in a Halloween costume and shoved it into this one night.”

“Have you ever heard of that company Blackout? It’s one of the most horrifying things ever and they’re going to be doing a special haunted house at the Forum. We also have a mariachi band Dias De Los Muertos wandering the halls, there’s going to be contortionists on all different levels, sword swallowers, the Suicide Girls are going to be dancing through the foyer. The more we started to talk about this, the more we realized that the show will never really stop. It will be all through the building. When one band is done something else will pop up, like an evil jack-o-lantern. It’s gonna be kind of constant and it’s going to be like a Halloween battering ram of fun.”
“It all sort of hinges on making this really explosive and I think that’s why the ideas kept coming. Here’s another thing we’re gonna do: a friend of mine who I think should be getting government money because he’s crazy, he’s going to wander the audience and pull the 5 best costumes that he sees and we’re going to let the audience judge. We have special seats bathed in red light on the side of the stage. The winner gets to sit there and get free candy. The candy’s been laced, but I don’t want to give away everything.”
“I think sometimes Halloween can be a bit like New Year’s where everyone wants to go out but no one knows where to go. This place where you feel artistically and socially safe to cut loose. I think that’s a main sticking point. You’re safe to go nuts.”

And what do they mean by "introducing" A Club Called Rhonda?

Is this show still the brainchild of Steve Aoki?

"Introducing A Club Called Rhonda stage"

The "stage" being the integral part of that sentence....

don't get me wrong, there are a lot of things to shake your head at this event for... but.. you know..

Why is it a shit bucket? Or does only the bands you follow make it not a shit bucket due to their presence.

He was asking because moviebruin called it a "shit bucket." He has never been so he is wondering why it was referred to in that manner. These are details you might notice if you would actually read people's posts and think for 2 seconds about what they are saying instead of simply looking for reasons to be a fucking asshole all the time.

The parking is super hit or miss there. Either it's entirely open and free or it's already full and costs $20. With no parking available in the surrounding business park areas aside from a Home Depot that towes, it can be problematic.

What Drinkey said. And I'll be sobering up at the LA Quinta down the street.

How's the sound quality? Easier to get up front than in LA proper or harder? Do they pretend that free tap water doesn't exist?
