I went! The night was pretty awesome.

Thundercat played a set which was awesome like always. Then Fly Lo came out, did a couple Cap Murphy songs with Thundercat and his band playing the instrumentals live, then Fly Lo did a DJ set which was just bonkers. Didn't say for Cashmere Cat though.

Thinking about hitting up that One More Time tribute at the Yost on Saturday. Like the second or third time they've been around this year and I haven't gone yet.

What Individual shows prompted by the success of ‘Random Access Memories’
When Summer (Nile Rodgers) TBC (Giorgio Moroder)
    Where Worldwide (NR), Vegas (GM)
What to expect While rumours of a Daft Punk tour abound, two of Random Access Memories’ collaborators may be far too busy with their own shows to get involved with anyone else’s. Legendary Italian producer Giorgio Moroder has announced plans to launch a disco-themed stage show recreating the vibe of Studio 54. And after spending 18 months in the studio with everyone from Chase And Status and Aviici to Felix Da Housecat and Tensnake, Nile is set to hit some of the world’s biggest festivals and show how his 70s and 80s disco sound helped transform today’s dancefloors.

I would think that if they were actually touring they wouldn't plan something else. But maybe daft won't even be going in the route of having collaborators.

What time are people thinking of coming into Downtown L.A. For Chromatics/Glass Candy on Saturday? I'm thinking we could start a meet up at Spring St Bar and have some beers and sandwiches there, or start there and move over to Peking Tavern. Both places are like a block or 2 from the theater and both have great drinks and food. i am also not really doing anything all day and live right in the area, so I can be out bar hopping most of the day really.

I've RSVP'd and me and my girl are considering going. If we do, we're down to meet up. Hopefully somewhere that will have the football game on.

I think the earliest we could be down there would be 6pm.
