Elliot Smith wasn't very attractive. How is the music?
The pilgrimage is not perfected save by copulation with the camel.
Spectacular. He has everything from solo acoustic guitar rages against the iniquities of life to full-on Beatlesesque pop tracks, with a great voice and an even better ear for arrangement and songcraft. There's a reason people are still so obsessed with him when he died nearly a decade ago.

Probably announced after those shows even happen. No need to male those el ret shows seem all for not.
I find the "not" more amusing myself.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
wtf is male supposed to mean?
the busy bee has no time for sorrow.
"No need to make those El Rey shows all for naught."
I wonder if anyone's ever bled out while Supre's posting concert information from his phone on the job.
"Stop crying you old bitch, I need to beat this asshole to the punch!"

Andrew To Play Drums For 24 Hours In Times Square
Go support Stones Throw tomorrowWHAT: Andrew to attempt a drumming world record!
WHEN: TONIGHT!!! Wednesday, June 19th, 2013 at 7:00pm EST until TOMORROW! Thursday, June 20th, 2013, 7pm EST.
WHERE: OMusicAwards.com and at the Oakley Store in Times Square, New York City (northwest corner of Broadway and 44th Street).
Over the years, the O Music Awards have played host to world-record setting efforts like Chiddy Bang's 9-hour, 16-minute freestyle and the Flaming Lips' superhuman eight-show effort.
But both of those endeavors pale in comparison to what profound partymeister Andrew W.K. has in store for Wednesday's O Music Awards, where he'll attempt to set a new (and very specific) world record of his own: Longest Drum Session in a Retail Store.
Tune-in live and watch Andrew drum via the O Music Awards live stream! And remember to tweet at Andrew during the event to cheer him on and give him party power!
In addition to attempting the world record, Andrew is also up for an O Music Award in the category of "Must Follow Artist on Twitter." VOTE FOR HIM HERE!
For the duration of this year's awards — 24 hours (!) — W.K. will man the kit in Oakley's flagship Times Square store, being joined by the occasional surprise guest (the Roots' metronome ?uestlove will serve as his co-pilot for the first leg of the journey). But mainly, he'll be going it alone, and, as he explained to MTV News ... he's actually slightly terrified about the task at hand.
"Despite my apparent confidence, inside I am actually a very small, trembling shell of a person, who is not only intimidated, but completely mortified and horrified by the ramifications of this challenge," he said. "When I signed up for it, I was like 'Alright, 24 hours of drumming!' and then it started to set in: 24 hours of drumming. Just drumming for an hour — just drumming for 24 seconds — can be quite intense ... I can't even play one of my own songs on the drums all the way through without my arms burning.
"So let it be said, I'm not taking this lightly," he continued. "I think it will push me to the very lengths of my strengths."
Fans will be able to watch the entire 24-hour event from their device of choice via OMusicAwards.com.
Stones Throw Presents:
Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton Official Premiere Party
Thursday, June 20, 2013, 09:00PM

I had a really good time at Mount Kimbie last night, first time seeing them and I enjoyed their set. I was about 5 minutes late and noticed a significant amount of people leaving the show early, and it seemed like people kept doing that. Either people were really that unimpressed or they were expecting something completely different I guess.
Not sure how long the echoplex has been doing this for, or if they do it every night now - but the old corner spot that is straight ahead once you walk in the main entrance and used to have the merch table is now just a spot to watch the show from. They had the merch set up near the girls bathroom on the other side of the room. Glad they did this cause i watched most of the show from that spot last night and it was a great slightly elevated view.
I was there as well. A lot of people left after Vinyl Williams, but it got way crowded for Holy Other and Mount Kimbie from where I was. People were packed like sardines with nowhere to move, yet big groups of people were trying to squeeze in to get to the front. Was not fun having my two inches of breathing room invaded by someone much bigger and taller than me, but the music was enjoyable nonetheless. Holy Other's set was probably my favorite of the three.
Savages' LA date is maybe September 30th at the Fonda. Clearly this listing should be taking with a grain of salt since there's no other sources to back it up. But it could be right.
Alt J added ANOTHER Palladium show
