The quite real possibility that I might see Mondo Generator cover QOTSA's "You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire" takes the sting big time out of getting shut out of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Glass House show next month. Not to mention anything else they might play.

Once Morrissey started bitching about the smell of meat, I went and got a hamburger, watched some Beirut, then walked up to the Macca crowd and found a good spot to stand. I'm one of those walk around the main stage headliner people, not the get in as close as you can to make it ghey for everyone else type. Plenty of space on the field, and the sound should be good (with the exception of Kanye, in my mind. Worst sound a mainstage headliner has ever had, I would say. A problem I expected with Jay Z, but didn't have). If you wait for more than ten or twenty minutes for an act to take the stage, you may not be managing your festival time properly... According to Zafocaine.

Seriously, could you cry any harder? You're bitching on a daily bases in here. Don't you have friends? Family? Any semblance of a life? Don't feel obligated to answer any of those questions, but your angry face will stick if you keep making it. Din't you have a mama, boy?

You'd prefer I respond generally to personalized statements? "Charlie Brown, why do you get so personal when Lucy pulls the football? Just blame the football!" Because that makes a ton of sense. If people here can't take mistakes, then they better be happy their parents did. Why should everyone here be subjected to people with horrible attitudes? Just because they happened to stumble upon this board a couple years before you or I? Maybe you've accepted hiding from the personalities who bash you, and yes, you get bashed and have fits the same as everyone else here, but the rest of us still have a choice when it comes to taking shit from some kid with no money in the bank, no life experience, and nothing to show for his/ her time on this earth. Feel free to take a knee, klein. We've grown to expect this of you.

Stop posting meaningless shit for me to respond to. It's stupid posts like this ^^^ that make me realize most of you really should ignore me. You don't know when to stfu and let a guy chill. I post once, you idiots respond. If I take your lead, I'm going to respond. Lead by action, and just stfu, leaving me with nothing to respond to. It's basic logic. I'll still find things to post, but at least I won't be responding to shit like this. Make sense?

It's that someone was talking about Paul McCartney playing at Amoeba and not Coachella. That's why your going on and on is annoying.

Never been to the glasshouse. How is the surrounding area? Is it ghetto or safe to walk a mile or two back to our shitty motel?

As long as you're secure with NOT being surrounded by white faces, you should be fine.

    Wink Re: Upcoming Shows

There are plenrly of decent bars surrounding The Glass house.I recommend Joey's BBQ and DBA256.As far as walking two miles it depends what direction you are going.

Killer Mike is going be back in LA in Feburary. He said he wanted to do something like Flying Loctus did in LA.I am guessing he wants to play at Low End Theory . As always I put my 2 cents about how he should play at Pappy and Harriets.

Thanks. I was thinking I'd probably grab a cab also, just didnt know how easy it would be to hail one after the show. So was just making sure it was cool to walk if need be. Thanks for the bar suggestions too, that was going to be my next question.

Joey's has some pretty good beer, but good fuck was that the worst BBQ I've ever had before. If you're both thirsty and hungry I can in no way recommend Joey's.

Pomona has some very dicey neighborhoods, but next to the Glasshouse is ok. You should be fine.

If you decide that you want to take a cab definitely call. More than likely you will not see a cab that you can just flag down.

When I went to see Hatebreed at the Fox I parked a few blocks down in a semi-residential area. It was fine.

That usually turns out to be a shit show. Buy a ticket if they aren't sold out. They have a low capacity for the concert hall.
