It's a beautiful thing to witness. St. Mark's Church show they did together was only 20 minutes long but it'll be in my top 5 shows of this year. My god the noise Thurston made along with Zorn on reeds. I never seen anything like it. John Zorn (founder of the Stone) plays there often and you should go check it out if you're ever in the city. I saw this show too

I'm glad he's playing at Bowery! Three days between the next show? He's gonna be adding more NYC shows!

ps Cutterbutter, please go see the Faint in November. You'll absolutely fall in love with them. Sunday headliner should have been an easy choice. the Faint! It was so great to see them back in action. Enjoy my video!

It's passion that's missing. Their Coachella set was really dull and made me feel bad because I figured TomAZ would be disappointed that I didn't enjoy it the way he did.

IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER. Iron&wine joined them for Isn't it a Pity and held up cue card gig posters for the Rock the Casbah verses. Cobra into the full Run Thru was almost too much too handle. Absolute carnage to my brain. And they played Aluminum Park!!! Didn't even have to hold my sign up for long aaannd played Picture of You I requested on twitter (I'm sure others did as well). I love this band so much. Tomorrow!

Night Two was indeed amazing! I did prefer last night's set list, but there were definitely some great surprises. Tyrone was spectacular and Iron and Wine coming out to do a song was magical. I can't wait for tommorrow!

The last 6 songs of that first set look awesome in succession. "O Is the One That Is Real" is high on my list of MMJ songs that I've never seen live that I need to. Mahgeeta is a very good closer. Are you already wracking your brain thinking about what's left for tonight? Even though the Red Rocks shows were really great (2nd night was a top 2 all-time show for me) I'm a little jealous you're seeing all 3 of these shows. Enjoy tonight.

Absolutely! I saw them with LOA (who were awful, but a lot of fun) in 2010 and they were an absolutely fucking blast. the current band is really good and it's just a trashy good time. During the set i saw, they stuck almost completely to the first couple albums too.
