The Anchor (The Minutemen)
Funhouse (The Stooges)
Do You Want New Wave Or Do You Want the Truth? (The Minutemen)
Cortez the Killer (Neil Young)
Randy shredded the fuck outta the Minutemen songs, and Watt looked ecstatic playing them. He doesn't EVER do their stuff live, so I was in tears for both songs. The Stooges cover was super duper loud and chaotic. The version of Cortez was at least 15 minutes long and the second best version of the song I've ever heard (after the version on Live Rust.) Bradford played Neil, doing both the vocals and the lead guitar parts. He told me that he was playing a thrift-store guitar that he'd bought right before the show and that it kept going out of tune on him, but I thought it really fit the sound of the song.
Oh, and I asked Bradford about performing with Jandek. He said that it was a really weird show. Jandek had him start the head of each song, and John Fernandez from OTC was supposed to be the person to bring it to a close. He described it as jazz-like.
