You missed Philly date so I added it here! I'm guessing Williamsburg Summer Garden aka "new Waterfront location on 10th and Kent"

ps Riot Fest...book the Descendents again! For those looking to buy tickets for Williamsburg show, go to best buy theater and you can get them without the service charges since this will probably be AEG event. Because if you get it through their presale site, it comes out to $48 for one ticket ($35 + $13) plus 4 dollars for shipping! Just realized this is the same night as Hot Chip/Gang Gang Dance in Brooklyn! Gotta love living in NY

And I remember working at Wherehouse and having to deal with angry, sleepy people at 10AM demanding tickets in specific sections, something I certainly do not miss. I did, however, score some great seats to shows for myself, so I guess I can't complain that much.

I hated those days till I made a friend at Tower Records. He would help me cheat and cut in line. On a few occasions, when they handed out wristbands for random lottery, My friend would remember my number and call it first. Made the late 90s a good time for shows.

But NY venue's capacity is 7000! That is not small Read about new Waterfront location and it kinda sucks! There's a big fence blocking your view of everything now! It was bad enough when they moved the stage so you had to stare at goddamn hipster apartment buildings during the show, but at least you could turn around and enjoy the sunset over Manhattan. Good thing though: it won't have a caged off beer area or state troopers walking this summer woohoo!

With a capacity of roughly 7000 people, the work-in-progress Williamsburg Park will host as many as 20 shows this summer, with about 1/3 of them being free...

    1) At the Drive In
    2) Modest Mouse
    3) Gotye?

This sound has gotten very worn out. I like GB City so far, but Jesus how many bands are going to keep insisting on using the same vocal effect?

Oh, and it appears that Lotus Plaza is the opener, not the headliner, on 5/10 at the Echo. Ramona Falls is headlining.

Exactly the same crossroads I came to listening to that album. The saturation of this sound is well documented but something about this one felt like it was leaning on the aesthetic more than others.

Yeah sad that all the ticketmaster outlets are dunzo. There was one at an FYE in my city of Fullerton until the very end of 2009. Then again though sad the days are gone when you could get a Coachella 3 day pass for $285 out the door at GLasshouse record store.

I think I am gonna try and see what happens. I don't think that a crowd gathers at these outlets anymore do they?

edit: I forgot that Nokia Theater tickets can be purchased at Staples center box office .. might try that out. It would save on service charges I just gotta call them tomorrow and make sure they would be %100 ready to sell me a ticket at 10 because I think they open at 10:00 on the dot, so that might make it difficult.

oh, nice, double the pleasure. He, and the band, were good at the Detroit Bar (admittedly very poor at Coachella). Think it will be a professional set, especially in an Opener role.
