Kampy - when did you live in Columbia?never been to mojo's, but I've heard a lot about it. I don't think it was around when I lived in Columbia. I'm a Blue Note veteran... saw so many great shows there... Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, Urge, Uncle Tupelo (now Wilco).......

jeezus, silverchair is still alive ?
The picture for Daughtry on the GV page makes me hate him even more, laugh hysterically, and want to attend to heckle his fans all at the same time.
I just can't get over the fact he has a touring career and people will attend his shows. My mom thought he was talented on American Idol though. I would go with my mom.
I remember reading about Silverchair in Disney Adventure magazine. I had to have been about 5 years old. Frogstomp baby.
what does daughtry sing at his shows? a bunch of creed and nickelback songs?
The bold ones are the sure/important ones. The first one I just found out about today and I'm so so happy. I also just saw about the Ladyhawk and Sunset Rubdown shows.

For the Tucson of Montreal show (Feb 14) Ariel Pink is opening. Damn.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
How can Midlake not be in bold!! Can't believe i missed 'em in 05
I remember wanting to see them in ***5 but missing them as well. I've liked their stuff but I'm not real tied to it so that's why they're not bold.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
They played so damned early, though.
EITS should be bolded.
The most random things are getting **'d out...
That is the Thursday before Coachella, though. If I am heading up Friday morning then it's a possiblity. We'll see how things go.
Also I'm not sure what I think about EITS. Jennie's cutting commentary - which i'll paraphrase as 'they're good but I don't get how they're so much better than the rest of the pack' - has me thinking. Also I need to listen to their music.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.

The Broken West are playing with The Walkmen in Baltimore on March 9th. I'm thinking about heading down for that show. I'm not personally familiar with their music, but the write-up on them in the latest "Under The Radar" made them sound like they're worth checking out.Feb 15 - the Autumn Defense, the Broken West @ Modified
I put the broken West on my recent mix, if you want to hear one of their songs...
feb 4: mirah
feb 17: camera obscura (who, btw, appears to have a lengthy tour hiatus between 3/2-5/02...)
feb 28: french kicks
mar 10: mc lars
mar 14: fujiya & miyagi (probably)
COACHELLA 99-01-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12
The MLK/Monday mix? If so, I'm getting that one tonight. (And eventually I'm getting rid of dial-up, so I can get mixes in a more timely manner).
By the latest UTR do you mean the one with the Decemberists on the front? Because I can't find it in there. Or is there a new one that should be in my mailbox soon? Hmm.
I don't remember why I wanted to go to that show. I didn't know either band. the Autumn Defense sound OK and I still haven't heard the Broken West. I bet Yabs will eventually put one of their songs on a mix and then I will hear them.
I don't think I'm hosting a 2016 collaborative playlist.
