Anyone go to the first night of Ty Segall's Echo residency? I'm going tomorrow, trying to find out what time he goes on.

That one already happened with Into It. Over It., A Great Big Pile Of Leaves, and The World Is A Beautiful Place....... back in February. Hotelier with World is a great double bill, and I'd like to attend the Chain Reaction show.

Saw them at Splash House a few weeks ago with bare-bones visuals and lighting effects (they performed poolside, for fucks sake), and it was the second best CC show (after the 2011 set). It usually is the crowd that makes or breaks a CC show (in my humble experience).

Cut Copy had no visuals at Coachella 2011 and that is highly regarded as one of their best sets.

They had a magic door, though. Set would have been pretty boring without it.

The crowd super sucked for Cut//Copy's San Franchella '11 magic door tour stop at the Regency.

I've seen them 3 times for this album (2 fests and 1 headline gig) and I am very pleased with the setlists this time around, especially for their headlining gigs (Far Away!!).

I've seen them about 6 times, the Coachella set was definitely the best one. The crowd made that show.

I've also seen Cut//Copy 6 times and will say my favorite time was when the opened for Simian Mobile Disco at the Mezzanine during San Franchella 2008. Though, truth be told, I was riding the high from seeing Goldfrapp at the Warfield earlier in the night and Cut//Copy was riding the high from performing at Coachella the night before. So much fun was had.

My second favorite time was at the Oakland Fox Theatre in 2013 (And yes, Far Away is among their best songs).

ahhhh i really wish i went to that show. also Into It. Over It. with Owls was another great one i missed. Gonna see Into It. Over It opening for Mineral later this year though, that should be cool. Also, the openers for American Football at the Fonda haven't been announced yet, but AF on their own should top everything.

Sounded great. Thought the organ complemented the music quite well (to my surprised). Couldn't really hear the organ during the heavy parts (obviously) but during the soft parts it held its own. The Ustream and Youtube recordings sucked (at least the ones I've seen).
