Would you care to explain why you think these things are not true? Do you think that Live Nation would book The Black Keys and not have a contract stipulation that they not play an AEG-owned venue a mile away shortly after? Have you never seen a performer do something different than their headlining slots in an opening slot for a larger band? I don't think suggesting that is any stranger than just suggesting that the fans will be utterly confused by her performance.
I'm not "correcting" anyone or making anything up. You can continue to, for some reason, be perturbed by my comments on here, but what i am saying are perfectly reasonable points of discussion.

I'm not perturbed, and yes your comments are reasonable. It's just odd when you act as though you're a voice of authority when you have no more of a clue of how things work/artists' intentions than we do. I dunno, maybe it's just personal preference, I don't really go on about things that have little to go off of. Carry on.

I didn't realize my words exuded so much confidence that what I was saying seemed to suggest I knew something more than what my own anecdotal experience or previous examination of events would provide. I will try to use more smiley faces and colloquial language from now on.
Also, cyber-hugs to you.

Anyone else get in for nick cave this morning? I pulled orch left row L. The theater looks cool. I am pretty excited, as the number of shows I get to these days has dwindled to about 3 or 4 a year.
RAPE STOVE
white power?!
The theater is absolutely stunning. I wish I could afford to go right now.

Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.
Upcoming Shows: Spamalot (7/31), HARD (8/1) 2001 Space Odyssey with LA Phil (8/12), Opeth (10/18), TOOL (10/31), Coachella 2016 (WK1), David Gilmour (Wherever I need to go)
Choreographed dance routines and stage banter?! I guess touring with David Byrne pushed her in that direction....

Are they added to this? http://www.1015.com/events/1015/053014

There were moments during St. Vincent's show where I felt she could slay in an arena. Her popularity shouldn't soar too much after SNL and touring with the Black Keys, but she'll definitely (as if she hasn't already) gain a large following of people that miss the point of Digital Witness. If she opens in SF/LA I'll probably have to revisit the Black Keys.
RSVP for that Animal Collective DJ set in LA - https://www.facebook.com/events/8111...ilter=upcoming
Sweet, I won a pair of tickets to Who is William Onyeabor tonight!

Yup! I had row M Orch but let it go in favor of Row A in the left balcony. It was spendy but I love Nick and, like Drinkey says, the venue is a stunner. Going to be a great couple nights.
Btw, for anyone that needs one ticket to the show at the Shrine, I have row 7, aisle, center section available. I'll let it go with a discount. PM me.
