Fair enough I hear you there. Every time I have seen them they kill it.

Upcoming Shows: Stanton Warriors (3/20), George Clinton + P Funk (3/21) Coachella 2015 (WK1), Underworld (Hollywood Bowl), Basement Jaxx (Hollywood Bowl), David Gilmour (Wherever I need to go)

If he catches your cold, then your show is canceled.

A couple days maybe? Roxy shows seem to sell out noticeably slower than Troubadour shows. Plus The Kooks just played two in LA, so there is definitely less demand than before those shows. Oh and the new songs are meh meh meh so maybe that will slow down ticket sales.

there was about 10 campers in line for Morrissey at the Observatory on my way to Brian Jonestown Massacre tonight. Don't know how long they had been sitting there, but they looked miserable.

LOOP was fucking spectacular tonight. But good god, was that Church on York unbearably hot inside. I can't even imagine what it'll be like when we get to mid-summer...I'll still go to the Thee Oh Sees show I have a ticket for at the end of the month, but other than that unless it's something I'm dying to see I'll very likely not go back until closer to the fall. Which sucks, because they're getting ridiculously good acts.

Bahaha. The looks on some of the people's faces in the crowd during St. Vincent during those shows opening for The Black Keys is going to be priceless. With that being said, those should be killer shows and a way better opener than Cage the Elephant or Jake Bugg.

Well, duh. I kind of figured that was implied in my comment. There is no arguing that. I just love that St. Vincent is opening for The Black Keys and it is going to confuse the fuck out of a lot of people.

I don't think she's a "weird" artist who will confuse people. It's not like it's Liars opening.

Truth bomb: for all of her high art pretensions and trappings, the soft commercial middle was always the scheduled destination for St. Vinny.
