Weeknight parking rates are much lower than the weekends. The building right across the street is usually $7. And adjacent are similar. I dont think there are many thatll go past $15, so more than likely $10 is what youll end up paying.

As you're driving down Sunset there is going to be a parking lot at every single fucking block with a little Hispanic dude ferociously waving an orange flag... Park in one of those, easy as that.

If you're pathetic like me and refuse to pay for parking unless you absolutely hafta, there's a neighborhood south of Sunset on the other side of Doheny. Not every street will let you park, but the ones that do have plenty of spaces.

Nice! I was really happy we got Ada and Runaway. Also, can't reiterate how much I love the Moody Theater.

Yeah, that whole Ada -> Abel -> Slow Show sequence was just gorgeous. Runaway sounded great too. And yes the Moody is just awesome. I always forget how intimate the floor really is. I hope they start mixing their encores up a bit soon. Looking forward to nights 2 and 3...taking my mom tomorrow night and we've got seats in the mezzanine, then doing floor again on Wednesday. Crossing my fingers for 'Lit Up'.

Arcade Fire was amazing last night. The first six covers were all done without Win. He came out for Helter Skelter and then they went into their set. Win jumped down into the crowd and sang and danced with everyone a few times and seemed genuinely excited to be playing. They did play Normal Person twice, which was fine, everyone was still into it. After their set, they turned down the lights and the house music came on. Win came out and slow danced with some fans. Even though it was a short set, I had a blast. Easily a top ten show for me.

People have reported that the seats are very nice and the sound is good, but the process of parking and entering the venue are both still terrible (which were my 2 main reasons of staying away for years).
