Nice a Coachella fallout set
Nice a Coachella fallout set
I'm in the same boat, we've seen them plenty at this point. Really weird that they're playing the week between Coachellas and aren't playing Coachella.
Henry Miller shows are always more than you hope they'd be. I'm guessing in the neighborhood of $75 a pop.
I'm seeing Low for the 3rd time in 5 weeks on Thursday. They just announced that their second set of the night will be all covers.
Trentemoller - March 31st - Music Hall of Williamsburg
More US Dates to be announced tomorrow
I think the 2004-2005 Pixies setlists were the best. Lots of Doolittle/Surfer Rosa/Come on Pilgrim and just the good stuff from Bossanova and Tromple le Monde.
10/21 The Paranoyds, The Molochs @ Non Plus Ultra, 11/21 Jhene Aiko @ Avalon, 11/22 Warpaint @ Observatory, 12/16-18 Day for Night
And anyone thinking of seeing The Faint on this tour really should. I caught them recently and it was a blast. The new stuff is more "punk" in the dance-punk spectrum. Great set list and tons of energy.
I just saw the Pixies at the Joint here in Vegas on Sunday night. It was good and they certainly weren't mailing it in. But I enjoyed the El Rey show more. One thing I noticed was I didn't think Paz was filling the Kim void as well as Kim #2. Paz can really play, but chemistry felt a little lacking. The Joint's kind of an odd place too. The floor is fine, but the levels along the sides and in the back seem miles away from the stage. Felt like a big cavern (but still sounded good).

So did anyone see him in LA???
Greetings San Francisco!
Tomorrow night's Audion Subverticul show has been moved to Mighty. It has long been one of my favorite clubs in America, and I'm very happy to be bringing the second show of the Subverticul tour to such a great venue.
Please join me along with Matrixxman tomorrow night as we take Noise Pop Festival by storm.

See you there!
maybe pixies could replace needy eye on sunday
Yes, asking if anybody saw him in L.A. would imply that it already happened.
Asking about a show that happened less than a week ago is old news? That's news to me! goddamn you suck, milkshake
Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.

All you bay area folk need to check out Audion, the visuals were great (duh) but the music blew me the fuck away. Really hoping FYF gets Audion back to LA this year.
Also, anyone try to buy single day passes for Burgerama? Observatory site mentioned today as the on sale date, now I'm reading the 28th.
