    Setlist:

    309
    Harper Lewis
    1777
    Geneva
    Schiphol
    Deficit
    Carpe
    Burial
    Mlàdek
    Youngblood
Did you go to both Bowery and St. Vitus shows? I was at Bowery show and it was definitely the best time I've seen them. Opening up with "309," and blasting through the supercharged intro riff with several dramatic mood swings.....the only downfall was they didn't play "Death Rides a Horse."

Last time Marcel played Output, he was with Answer Code Request and Bob Moses. Now this time Fuction?! Of course the Bunker announces 8 hr set with Silent Servant the same night...

    3/29/14
    Output:
    MARCEL DETTMANN [Ostgut Ton/ MDR]
    Function [Ostgut Ton/ Sandwell District]
    Anthony Parasole [The Corner]

    The Panther Room:
Frank & Tony [Scissor & Thread]

    3/29/14
Silent Servant (Jealous God, Hospital Productions | Los Angeles) 8 hour set @ Trans Pecos

Thank you SVE for sticking with smaller venues

It's at The Roxy so you are better off being in NY.

Henry Miller shows are always more than you hope they'd be. I'm guessing in the neighborhood of $75 a pop.

Not always...I saw The Tallest Man on Earth there once for what I thought was a fair price. It being the Pixies though, that's pretty much the price range I expect.

I'm seeing Low for the 3rd time in 5 weeks on Thursday. They just announced that their second set of the night will be all covers.

They toured performing Doolittle for years. I'm sure they assume their fans have had their fill and are probably tired of playing those songs night after night.

I just found out I have to go out of town March 29/30 so I'm going to miss the Sunday night show that I bought tickets for. Guess I'm going to try for the Wednesday show instead now.

I think the 2004-2005 Pixies setlists were the best. Lots of Doolittle/Surfer Rosa/Come on Pilgrim and just the good stuff from Bossanova and Tromple le Monde.

That's why I've avoided all the tours since then. I heard pretty much everything I wanted over the five shows I saw.

And anyone thinking of seeing The Faint on this tour really should. I caught them recently and it was a blast. The new stuff is more "punk" in the dance-punk spectrum. Great set list and tons of energy.

I just saw the Pixies at the Joint here in Vegas on Sunday night. It was good and they certainly weren't mailing it in. But I enjoyed the El Rey show more. One thing I noticed was I didn't think Paz was filling the Kim void as well as Kim #2. Paz can really play, but chemistry felt a little lacking. The Joint's kind of an odd place too. The floor is fine, but the levels along the sides and in the back seem miles away from the stage. Felt like a big cavern (but still sounded good).
