We'll get No Age since they're playing at Music Hall of Williamsburg on 9/5 and nothing the next day. Savages will probably play SF or Barstow date if you're right about the Fonda show

In September 2013, a train will travel from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Activating the cultural landscape, Station to Station will connect artists, musicians and creative pioneers.

For a short time, the most interesting place in the country will be a moving target.

Each stop will feature a variety of different artists. Musicians taking part in the project include Savages, David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors, Ariel Pink, Eleanor Friedberger, Dan Deacon, No Age, Twin Shadow, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Nite Jewel and Connan Mockasin.

There will also be other artists Kenneth Anger, Olaf Breuning, Peter Coffin, Urs Fischer, Meschac Gaba, Liz Glynn, Carsten Höller, Christian Jankowski, Aaron Koblin, Ernesto Neto, Jack Pierson, Stephen Shore, Rirkrit Tiravanija, and Lawrence Weiner; writers Dave Hickey, Barney Hoskyns, and Rick Moody; and chefs Alice Waters and Leif Hedendal, and the Edible Schoolyard Project. Plus, even more participants TBA.

Can't wait for July 2nd though.

I saw Chelsea Wolfe there four months ago. I loved the venue, great acoustics, nice set up. Only thing off was the seats, being a church and all.

churches must be having a hard time collecting that 15% from the congregation if they're putting up heathen concerts on their premises. I'm sure some of the kinky attendees are trying to do the nasty there. "Under the pew in five".

One of the best concerts I went to last year was a Christmas party in a church staring Juicy J & The Twerk Team

Yeah, I was at this show too. I really love it as a venue. I'll be at the Ariel Pink show there tomorrow night.

A word to the wise - get there early. Parking is impossible around there, you'll likely have to park a good bit away so plan accordingly.

St. Vitus for sure! It's a metal/hardcore bar with a great beer selection and food. The place fits about 200 people and it sounds great in there. The staff is friendly and everything inside the bar is black/dark so be prepared! 285 Kent is a huge warehouse next to Glasslands. It's not a bad spot to see a show but they only sell cheap beer and oversell that place always.

origami vinyl is giving away pairs of Robert Planet tickets for the show this Wednesday at the Shrine with any purchase. I just came
back and they had a huge stack left so get down there if you are interested. 2 tickets to see Robert Planet for an $8 Morris Day album, not bad
