It'll be a nice cheap show, and you'll hear some gems from the late 90's/early 00's...

    I could go on...

I was there and disappointed in the lack of pit! I tried to start one, pushed a guy into some dumbass girl who brought two full pints into the crowd and a fight broke out. That was that. Still an amazing show though!

One of my favorites as well, it feels like it's been a really long time since they've played San Francisco. I don't think they've been here since before Charlotte left the band.

Whoops, right you are! All those dates except the LA one are from her booking agent's website, and when I added it above I thought I remembered seeing that it was at the Bootleg.

I remember seeing part of Ash's set on the Area 2 Tour with the Blue Man Group, Busta Rhymes, David Bowie, and Moby.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

Yes they were! I was there that night in the mad-for-it pit, second row, taking turns getting smothered and smothering those around me. Broke my sunglasses while thrashing around like a madman and I was never happier about breaking something.

Some people seem to really hate it, the only problem I've ever had was overzealous security. They have the best beer selection (and best prices) of any venue in LA. Parking can be a bit of a struggle in the neighborhood since there are so many people who live there and I wouldn't necessarily recommend parking too far down a side street if you're not familiar with the Rampart/MacArthur Park neighborhood, as it can be pretty sketchy at times. They have a lot across the street that used to be free, but I think they charge for it now. I've always had decent sound, and they have a cool outdoor patio in the back where you can hang between sets that is usually less crowded than inside.
