While that's true, I was also considering the fact that the 605 N is going to be an absolute shitshow at that point in time. But then again, it's all going to be, so it's like choosing which of your children you hate the least.

Thanks so much for the help, everybody. You're sweethearts. And Amyzzz, that was my thought exactly when I was thinking about the route advice I might get. Hahaha.
Jorge, we might see you there! Thanks for the invite.
Anyone know if The Men are good live? On the fence about going.
Yes, they are incredibly good live. If you are even a little bit of a fan you will love it.

The show at the troubadour is a couple days before the album comes out! That single sounds pretty great. I liked them at FYF this year and would imagine they'd be great in a tiny place like the troubadour.
Yeah, I didn't get in sadly. Anyone get lucky?
Edit: just got a pair somehow. sweet

Morrissey Regency Ballroom SF sold out in 30 seconds...
Local Natives are going to premiere some songs from their new album on MBE in a few minutes. www.kcrw.com
Per the Glass House' Twitter:
Tonight: Doors at 8. The Bots at 9. Yeah Yeah Yeahs at 10.
Do you think tickets for Caspian at the Echoplex will sell out quick??
I doubt it, but hey who knows? I plan on going, but am definitely waiting to buy a ticket.
There's usually a lot announced right around the Coachella lineup release (secret shows the week of, etc.) and I wanna make sure I have enough funds for something like that first.
1/15: Free Hennessy & Nas. Perfect combo
Set times for YYY's at Glasshouse tonight (from Glasshouse FB page):
10pm- Yeah Yeah Yeahs
9pm- The Bots
8pm- Doors open
Let's go on a livin' spree!

Yeah yeah yeahs were a lot of fun. Karen O is one crazy but awesome woman. Almost got a set list but then one of the stage guys was like no we can't give them out because they played new songs, so I got nicks pick instead.
As for the the new songs...to be honest I didn't love them. Overall the new stuff I remember seemed more subdued, but not in a good way. Hopefully it sounds better recorded, or maybe I just need to warm up to it. And ya it seemed a little short like getbetter said.
