Theyre probably staying in a $10,000 a night hotel room. And gave their crew the same kinds of rooms. Plus they rented an airplane hanger for $100,000 a week or something so they have ''privacy'.
they are probably staying in versailles. feeding their crew cake.
Either way, I think the situation is funny.
Well at least they didnt go on Saturday and froze their balls off. Also, Mumford fans like spending money on merch. they sold out of everything they had on Saturday and had to have a fresh batch over nighted for tonight. There was a poster btw, Cutter. Screen print, out of 200.
I was there on Saturday. Got my friends 3rd row pool circle tickets so they took me with them. Never seen the bowl so packed. Way beyond Paul McCartney's crowd which still boggles my mind to this day. Every inch of that place was crawling and so much liquor was just thrown away from people not knowing the lease event rules (like you said the other night we talked at the greek). Could have stayed warm another way! Though the stage blocked most of the wind for me
Boring fucking design on the one they had I thought. But at least the shirts were designed just the for the hw bowl if they were gonna charge $35 for them.
Much better design and smaller edition from Lalaland posters. I believe it was made for the promotor but its for sale on the site now.
O yeah, Dawes fucking killed it. A real LA gem I have totally overlooked.
Your the second person I have heard about the Dawes kickin ass I guess I'll check them out....
They walked out to Phone Went West by MMJ. Spoke volumes once their set got going.
saturdays mumford show was a little better tonight. had never seen dirty projectors before but holy fuck they are awesome. dawes kicked ass on saturday too. it was almost like the old simon dawes days with blake mills up on stage.
yeah that bottom poster cutter posted was made by kii arens for bill and andy. got my hands on one. looks good.
Was the song selection any different? Did DP/Mumford collaborate as they Dawes did?
i don't think the song selection was any different.
