It's cool if you're Peter Gabriel.

I miss talking to TomAz.
We all do. I live in the same city as him (unless he relocated) and rumor has it that at 3:15am if you listen closely and its really really quiet you can hear him telling you to go fuck yourself.
Damn you LA!

Oh My Rockness is another great resource for upcoming shows, they also have support for upcoming New York and Chicago gigs.
i kind of want to go to the david byrne/st vincent show if i'm not going to scary farm on fri. get one of the cheap seats. i know only talking heads hits and that st vincent sounded kinda cool at coachella.
so, yeah...Grizzly Bear...unreal. All the new songs were amazing. sound was perfect from the rail. probably one of the best shows of the year for me.
Agreed! Grizzly Bear were fanfuckintastic! Really surprised me.
Grizzly Bear were ridiculous tonight. First time at the Greek and it sounded fantastic from section A. They're just such a tight band and their songs come across so well live. Oh and Chris Bear is a beast behind that kit.
The harmonies Grizzly Bear do are bar none amazing. Great band at the top of the game. Shields songs rocked. Idk if the Greek lighting guys were good tonight, or that was GB's doing, but it was awesome.
Really impressed with Grizzly Bear. Sat in the inner section of South Terrace and thought the sound was excellent. I have always been pretty happy with sound at the Greek I know the place gets a bad rap sometimes but I don't think its fair to just let its reputation be a wash. The crowd around me was respectable and more focused than not, very little noise and talking wise except one guy who thought he was hilarious and had a couple one liners that he thought everyone should hear. Thanks again to Iced Keg for the last minute ticket hook up, much appreciated my friend.
Grizzly Bear were phenomenal. I went last minute and was just blown away. The sound even up in Section C was great. And yeah, the harmonies were gorgeous. It was just a perfect night.
Did anyone watch the Lower Dens set? How were they?

The Weeknd killed it last night... Great reworkings of songs with a keyboardist and backup vocals added, different setlist from Coachella/Hollywood Forever. The new interlude/song sounded fucking awesome too.
Glad to hear all the love for the Grizzly Bear show. I think everyone and their mother is expecting them at Coachella this year, should be a great set.
Nice! I'll try to stop by Pianos since they always have good day parties! Brooklynvegan's day parties are taking place at Public Assembly on Friday/Saturday. RSVP for Fader Fort is open now: http://www.thefader.com/2012/10/11/r...-converse-nyc/
I guess M-M-M-M-M-Muse added a show on January 24th at the Staples Center
Dude just listen to their album, what's one hour?
