    It's on the picture...

From BV comment section: He is touring. A friend of mine is a concert promotor, and Waits booked two theaters from his company: one in Athens and the other in Mississippi (forgot the city).

Ah - the right side is cut off on the Anti- page, at least in my browser.

I like any potential evidence suggesting that "Waits abroad" doesn't mean overseas.

That's pretty fucking janky that the Anti website is hosting its images on tinypic and not even its own server.

I noticed today that TomWaits.com hosts some images on DropBox. I think all of their web "admins" are lazy.

My buddy and I were dancing but as is expected of the LA area were surrounded by squares demanding we stop bumping into them. If you didn't want to dance then why don't you just listen to her albums at home?

Anywho, tonight the D Rizes again just like the Fenix!

    Double dip.

Fuck you. Fiona Apple isn't a dance party. You don't push your way into the crowd and try to hollow out a space for your etardery. If you're at a concert to dance, why don't you stay the fuck at home and do it in your wretched living room?

Thanks for mentioning this - I must have overlooked it in the latest email blast.

Also, maybe hold off on Django Django as I think they will be doing School Night at Bardot on 9/24.

    THE MAGNETIC FIELDS

The band has scheduled some performances on the East Coast and in the Midwest this fall, with a special opening reading by novelist Emma Straub, also known as The Mag Fields' merch gal extraordinaire! Check the listings below (and calendar section) for on sale dates and ticket prices.

October 25 - Hudson, NY - Helsinki Hudson (On sale 07/31)
November 14 - St. Louis, MO - Sheldon Concert Hall (On sale 08/11)
November 15 - Detroit, MI - The Redford Theatre (On sale 08/04)*
November 16 - Pittsburgh, PA - Carnegie Lecture Hall (On sale 07/31)*
    November 17 - Washington, DC - Sixth & I Synagogue (On sale 08/03)*
    November 18 - Washington, DC - Sixth & I Synagogue (On sale 08/03)*

    * = Emma Straub reading from her debut novel
Laura Lamont's Life in Pictures opening

The band will soon announce several upcoming solo Stephin Merritt events, as well as an additional full band appearance, all dates in September and October. Further details to follow.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

This. A fucking DJ is just replaying music. Fiona is performing. Go suck a horse's dick, Fiona is far from dance music, and even if she were, respect other's personal space.
