Me: Well, how was the show?
Guy: It was easily both the best and the worst show I have ever been to.
    Me: How? Explain.
    Guy: Well, it's Bob Dylan!!!
Me: Yeah, ok. How was it the worst then?
Guy: Well... is IS Bob Dylan.

Question for those going to Jamie XX tonight or for someone who has been to Drai's for a previous Dim Mak event:

Purchased a ticket already... Does that mean I get straight into the club or is there still a line to wait in? Also is there a time restriction on the tickets? Thanks in advance.
April 8: Tame Impala @ Fox Pomona
April 9: Odesza and Robert DeLong @ Glasshouse
April 18: Charles Bradley @ The Roxy

better not be dressed like a chump or they can refuse entry. Prob still be a line regardless, ask the door people. And yeah, there's a time restriction, cause they'll take the group of girls who will buy bottle service over one person who paid $20 and will maybe buy one drink all night.

    Get in at 9pm.

Fuck Drais. I went there before for an event I had "RSVP'd" for, there was a line down the block. Fuck that.

If it were for a band in my top 10, I'd do what was necessary, but I couldn't identify a Dinosaur Jr. song for you and wasn't even aware that there was a new Shearwater album out till a few days ago, so they don't warrant the same attention. If $13 at the Crescent was cost prohibitive at the time Shearwater played there (considering the additional $20-30 I'd have spent on parking/alcohol), then whatever it would cost to drive to & from Flagstaff would be as well, particularly on a week when I'm going to be spending a ton of money in New York.

Yeah, well, I'd be much more inclined to see New Order and won't be able to do so due to the proximity of their CA shows to that very same NY trip. (And I'm sure I'd rather enjoy Dinosaur Jr, just haven't had occasion or motivation to devote any time to them yet.)

The Greek's schedule has been great lately. I don't dislike the venue anymore. For Al Green I sat in the middle of section B and the sound was still great. Even bmack lifted his personal ban on the venue. Also, I coughed up the extra $5 for non-stacked parking and it was absolutely worth it.
