Wow, has anybody here seen Tangerine Dream live before? That's pretty tempting.

I've been to the Mountain Winery for a show before. I know a good place to stay just down the hill from it. It's right next to a pretty cool little wine place called the Cinnabar if you're into el vino. Let me know.

    Fuck

Tom Waits has postponed his upcoming appearances on Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The songwriter was slated to perform on Late Night with David Letterman on April 24 as well as Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on April 25. He was also planning to use the occasions to both debut songs from his latest solo album Bad As Me. Waits plans to reschedule his appearances at a later date TBA.

What's so ironic about it? Did you previously have a reputation for either not being able to figure out how to post it or had you crusaded against its overuse?

Good to hear about Tuneyards/St Vincent. Seeing them next week. Do you recall about what time each started their sets?

On a related note, I saw The Horrors and Black Angels, also on a co-headlining bill, last night. Both sets were really solid. The Horrors are very professional musicians and have done a really nice job of tailoring their sound. It was my first time seeing the Black Angels (after multiple attempts) and they were also quite good. Even though their set was a little inconsistent, they were the better band to close out the night. Their visuals were nice and they brought out the Sitar for those songs that utilize it on the LPs. Great touch. A very satisfying evening of music.

Tune Yards came on at 8:15 or so and I believe St. Vincent started around 9:30. I chatted with the gal from Tune Yards for a bit and apparently she had the time of her life at Coachella.
