I think these two comments should effectivly and justifiably bury this discussion: ozzy is so old he almost fell over throwing a half gallon of water into the pit.... my grandpa is more virile and he's been dead since 1989.
why would you come to coachella and feel entitled to token metal? makes as much sense as bjork playing ozzfest...
I saw Isis like 2 weeks ago in San Louis Obisbo for they're 10th Anniversary show, it was fucken brilliant.
I had the opportunity(and I do mean opportunity) to see Boirs and Micho Kurihara back in October at the Echoplex in LA they were better than I could of ever imagined live. I also got to meet the singer outside smoking a cig. He's a really chill guy.
I saw Mastadon at Ozzfest a few years back pretty good show but I really don't like the Ozzfest scene.
Overall it would be pretty fucken cool to see at least one/all of these bands play at Coachella, even though it probably wont ever happen. I got hope though god DAMMIT!!!!
In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
Anyways... I think Serj Tankian is the closest Coachella will get to Metal next year. This is, unless someone like Mastadon or Isis shows up.
