Yeah, I just saw that too. 2 first rounders is kinda nice, but wow, when Bynum gets back, Kobe has 2 legitimate other options. They're looking like real contenders now. Should they make a play at Kidd too, or is this it?

I wish that whichever conference won the All-star game got home-court advantage during the finals.

yep. and Gasol was the #3 overall that same draft.
This trade news is sickening!
Along with the usual lead-til-theres-two-minutes-left-then-blow-it loss to Satans Spurs, it is a discouraging time for Suns fans.
Why in the hell weren't we in the Pau sweepstakes? We could of offered more than the biggest bust since Sam Bowie. I blame Sarvers tight ass and his precious little luxury tax. Gettin all cozy w/ LT last night, he probably has a scheme to get the Suns to SD somehow.
At least spring training is right around the corner, GO D-BACKS!!!
(god I hate baseball)
Tough time to be a Suns fan. I am not jumping ship here, but I have to say that it looks like our window for that championship might have just closed.

"The Memphis Commercial Appeal reported that the Grizzlies have reached a deal to send Stromile Swift to the Nets for Jason Collins. The trade is expected to be finalized Monday, the report said. Swift was sent home from practice Friday, the report said, and will not play Saturday's game against Utah."
Weird...
Go Lakers............ You could look at it this way, if Bynum didnt get hurt, they probably wouldnt have pursued this deal so much. Mephis is slightly crazy for doing it, but 2 draft picks makes them all the happeier in the long run. This last stretch of the season is goign to get interesting now. Eff you suns, you aint gonna get jack out of this postseason.
its all about the Dallas Mavericks this year as long as they don't fuck it all up this year
Coachella Vet since 2007
I hate to say this, but the Lakers just got a lot more scary:
What a fuckin' steal.. I happy and healthy Gasol can be be dominant.
Fuck the Lakers!!

I like Thom Yorke's beard better.
Someone just called into the local radio station and said he saw on ESPNews (the ticker) that the Suns just acquired Shaq (yes the run down diesel) for Marion and Banks.
Say it aint so!!!!
Someone please tell me this is false!!
it's not on espn.com.
If shaq is back in the west I am going cry.

but it is in the miami herald:
http://www.miamiherald.com/592/story/407442.html
I think I like this deal (if it is a deal), myself. Marion's gonna opt out after this season. The Suns need to get stronger in the middle. Amare can play the PF, which is his more natural position. We still have Nash and Barbosa. I like that we're shaking things up.
Apparently it is just a rumor for now....
I understand trying to get some value back for Matrix but isn't Shaq's contract as big as he is?
Plus, Phoenix = run n gun
Shaq = no run, I'm done
well, it's more than a rumor, it's a negotiation. but it's not a done deal (and may not ever be).
Wow, that would be a terrible deal. In his prime, Shaq couldn't even run up court for 1/2 the game. He would die nowadays in the Suns' system.

I was at the Suns-Sterns game last week. The Suns system needs to change.
It really does, no question. Something needs to change for sure.
But trading Marion (no way he opts out. No one is going to pay him the money he is demanding, let alone extend his contract at his current rate) for a Shaq that is a shell of his former self at $20 mil/season for the next 2 1/2 years doesn't make sense from a financial and basketball standpoint. I don't think he'd be a good fit. Now, if the Suns were negotiating a deal and Miami has agreed to pay off a significant portion of Shaq's contract, it might make some sense. But as it stands right now, terrible deal for the Suns.

I had to google 'stacey keibler'.
oh and BTW, last nights Jazz/Hornets game:
Chris Paul: 6 pts, 3-11 fg's, 6 ast's, 0-2 3pnt made (ALL-STAR)
Deron Williams: 29pts, 11-13 fg's, 11 ast's, 3-4 3pnt made (NOT AN ALL-STAR)

LOL! I just saw her on the Suns pregame show last night, didn't know who she was either. She does look talented tho.
Utah has been on fire since they got that "dynamic Kyle Korver" as someone in this thread previously stated.
I hated Stockton and Malone, but like the new guys for the most part.
I also think Jerry Sloan is the best coach in the league, yes I said THE BEST.
It was me who called Korver dynamic. He has been getting more an more minutes each game and scoring more points. Sloan has been the best coach in the league since 1996.
