Not a Clipper fan by any means but... The refs are pulling REALLY hard for OKC on this one, inexcusable.
Did anyone catch the rule explanation on TNT?
Something to the affect of if a ball handler gets hit on the hand forcing the ball to go out of bounds, they retain possession.
"Hand is part of the ball."
Come on, I know you fuckers heard that shit in fourth grade like everyone else.
The Clippers shit the bed, plain and simple. Paul played unusually awful down the stretch. The bad calls went both ways the whole game so blaming the loss on that one out of bounds is bullshit.
The Nets gave the game away... but once again, *awful* officiating down the stretch.
Sucks to hear Serge Ibaka is out for the rest of the playoffs, OKC can't take a trick at this time of year. Lucky they have the Kiwi enforcer to step in, he is rapidly becoming one of my favourite players (and top 3 favourite New Zealanders)
Talk about a Lottery Dynasty
Wow, OKC. Embarrassing. Russell Westbrook should shoot more.
I would love to hear GuyInTucson's reaction to this gem from Bill Simmons, regarding Cleveland's chances for Kevin Love:
http://grantland.com/features/the-nb...-self-mailbag/Cleveland Cavs: It all depends on whatever Bat Signal LeBron is sending them. If they truly believe they can bring LeBron home this summer or next summer — remember, he can always opt back into his Miami contract for one more season, then leave after the 2015 Finals — then here’s what the Cavs SHOULD do:
Step No. 1: Trade the no. 1 overall pick, Anthony Bennett and an unprotected 2015 first-rounder to Minnesota for Kevin Love. That’s a MONSTER offer. Boston wouldn’t be able to trump it from an upside standpoint. And by the way, ’Sota could flip that no. 1 pick to Philly for no. 3 and no. 10, take whomever’s left between Wiggins and Parker, then have the no. 10 and no. 13 picks as well, plus Bennett! That’s a RESET button and then some.
Step No. 2: Pull Miami’s old Udonis Haslem trick — renounce Anderson Varejao’s rights (for more cap space), then re-sign him in July for a longer deal.
Step No. 3: Bring LeBron home.
Your 2014-15 Cavs (potentially): LeBron, Love, Kyrie, Varejao, Tristan Thompson, Jarrett Jack, Dion Waiters and their choice of three ring-chasing veterans who would commit murder to play on that team. A little more palatable than that 2014-15 Heat roster … right?
Bill Simmons can suck a dick because none of that is going to happen
Hey Ron, did you give them a double dribble?
The Pacers might be the biggest bunch of morons I've ever seen in the NBA. I would absolutely love Miami to hand those knuckleheads the gentleman's sweep, especially after Indiana made it its life's mission to get the #1 seed in the East.
Hibbert blamed his coach for his lack of production in this series. George is blaming the refs (even though the Pacers have attempted 95 free throws to the Heat's 87 in this series). Indiana's confidence has completely shattered.
And Lance Stephenson thought it was a good idea to claim he was in LeBron's head.
As much as I dislike LeBron since The Decision, he is incredible to watch now.
He is a bad, bad man...
Westbrook is the first to put up 40-10-5-5 in a playoff game since MJ.
