    Fuck this day.

    I can't think of another musician that was as effortlessly great as Tom Petty. He and Mike Campbell made it all seem so casual and perfect and easy.

    I also can't believe it! I also saw him on the 40th anniversary tour this past May in West Palm Beach. It was a great show!
    Coachella '02, '03, '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, '11, '12 W1, '13 W1&2, '14 W1, '15 W1&2, '16 W1 (maybe '19 W1)

    No! Oh hell no! Dammit. Just saw the last show on Monday at the Bowl. Sounded awesome. I can't believe he is gone. Thank you Tom.

    Somehow this man's music escaped me until a couple weeks ago; I went to see him in SD blind because a buddy was going. I was ignorant of 99 percent of his music, but that didn't matter. He blew my goddamn lid off, and like Miroir said, he did it "effortlessly". Rest in Peace.
