What do you call it?
What do you call it?
Mini-golf, actually. There was a great place right down the street from the house I grew up in, my whole family used to go pretty much every night during the summer when I was young. My dad even wrote an ad about one of the trips, 'twas pretty funny. In fact, I'm gonna post it.
the most run down and dirtiest miniature golfing place in the whole world existed in my town (ironically it was called Paradise Miniature Golf). I played there once, and it was just so depressing. I think I came out of that place suicidal. It is now some mexican restaurant.
i worked at GolfLand for a year while in middle school and never once heard anyone call it "putt-putt"...
looking to purchase:big brother skateboarding magazine back issues. travis bean tb1000s electric guitars.
i wonder how sydaud will vote.
We used to have the equivalent "Pitch and Put" over 18 holes as youngsters. A nine or eight Iron plus a Putter was the standard equipment. Thats Scotland though, the home of golf. So, "Put Put" and "Minature Golf" are not an option I can choose. Both games use only one club....or nowadays, a cell phone, think thats what you call them. However, we also invented phones!
Here in AZ, I believe the term is "goofy golf".Disc golf is called "frolf" and is difficult on mushrooms.
here in mexico, we call that golf. miniature golf is when you throw the golf ball in the empty can of beans.
The majority of my miniature golf rounds vs. my sister involve me whacking the ball clear out of bounds and across the boardwalk on the Jersey shore. We're bi-coastal and we use the putt-putt term interchangeably.
what a bunch of idiot bastards.
Mini golf. Is this even a question?
PS V-Dub there is a glow in the dark mini golf place out here that you and PF should play. I know you won't but it is awesome.
where is betao from? putt putt can't just be a michigan thing.
I consider it Miniature Golf.
One of my friends refers to putt putt as a junky car.
Who's from the midwest?!?
I am! We refer to soda as "pop".
Carbonated beverages, imo.
I couldn't vote. When I was growing up, there was a chain of miniature golf "fun centers" called "Putt Putt". We referred to it as Putt Putt when we were going there; We referred to it as miniature golf when we were going somewhere else to play.
Putt Putt may still be around; I just haven't found any of that chain in PA. So I guess now, I play miniature golf.
