Agreed.......the fact that people actually watch a bunch of bros in a fantasy football league says a lot about today's society
p.s. QFT yourself FTW! Only MJA can pull that off with flawless ease
Ive never played a season of fantasy football or fantasy any sport in my life, nor do I care about any kind of fantasy "news" we are now fed from ESPN and other sports news shows. Having watched all the League's episode, the actual fantasy league is hardly a main focal point of the show. It's a group of friends who will go to great lengths to utterly embarrass and play tricks on one another. If you're not a fan of the comedy or the comedians, fair enough, but I think its unfair to dismiss the show solely on its premise of a fantasy football league.
8/27 Rock the Bells @ Shoreline
9/1 Amon Tobin @ The Warfield
9/30 DJ Premier vs. Pete Rock @ Mighty
My roommate watches this and I've sat around and watched bunch of episodes as it follows Always Sunny. They're all either explicitly about fantasy football, or it serves as the framework for a bunch of unfunny caricatured "guy humor" and attempts to coin new "guy terms". It's like a "guy humor" version of Seinfeld. It's just horrible.
Scheer and Kroll were hilarious in their guest spots on Childrens Hospital this year, and if not for that I'd have lost all respect for them.
"We're gonna grab that baby and impose are will on it, and cram our ideas down it's throat" haha.
That was a great episode, Frank kicks ass.
Just watched the previous two episodes. I loved Tom Sizemore's cameo in The Gang Gets Stuck in the Woods. So random and funny. Also, Cricket smoking crack in the hospital. GREAT finale.
The gang being trapped was outstanding!
I have the grace of a falcon.
I recently finished watching season 7 and didn't think it was that great. The only episodes I thought were truly funny were the Jersey Shore episode and Thunder Gun Express.
"Is that the ocean?"
"What's on the other side?"
"How long would it take-"
"DO NOT TRY TO SWIM TO EUROPE, CHARLIE."

We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
I too have been enjoying this season more than the last. The most recent one had one of my favorite openings in recent memory. When Dee starts to gag at the car accident scene I lost it.

Yeah I wouldn't pay for FXX either then. The only shows I watched on FX were Sunny and The League. Seeing as both shows are only around 10 episodes I wouldn't pay for a network for about 10 hours of me actually watching it either. Well I guess it depends on what they would charge but nothing more then 75 cents a month if that.
Still though it's going to be hard to top last nights episode. The theme of it would have been perfect for a season ending episode so it makes me think what they have in store for the rest of the season.
