I went to the Finnish countryside for a week, to visit family, and got back to London last Thursday night. I had a few hours to spare on Thursday before my plane left from Helsinki, so I decided to head into the city and just wander around and take some photographs before my flight. I was walking down towards the harbour and I noticed a crowd of people standing around outside a hotel so I went to see what was going on and one of them said "The Rolling Stones are staying here". Unbeknownst to me, the Stones had played in Helsinki the night before, and were just checking out. And at that exact moment the crowd started to cheer, and then Mick Jagger walked out of the hotel. He stood around and waved at the crowd for a minute and I took a couple of photos (though sadly did not get to pose WITH him), and then he got into a car and it drove off (presumably to the airport). I'll post the photos in the next day or two; I haven't got them off my camera yet.
