Of course it's a cheat. The top of the second "triangle" is puffed out enough for one spot to be missing. It would be impossible otherwise.

If the angles are different, that makes the shapes different as well. They look the same, but they aren't. Which makes it a cheat.

you don't understand. the angle of the blue triangle is different than the angle of the red triangle. the blue triangle in the first pic is the exact same as the blue triangle in the second pic. likewise, the red triangle in the first pic is the exact same as the red triangle in the second pic.

therefore, the whole figure (all 4 pieces put together) forms a rectangle, not a triangle.

it is not a cheat.

the angles cannot be different, look at triangle ABC. Lines AC and XK are parallel, therefore, angles z and g must be the same. OK, keep looking at triangle ABC. Lines XM and BC are parallel as well, therefore, angles r and h are the same. There is no way that the angles can be different. Unless of course, the lines are curved.

And if the lines are curved...survey says, CHEAT!
