[QUOTE=casey;2517802f you know anyone who has HBO, ask them to let you use their password for HBO Go. All the episodes are on there. I've given my password to too many people already or I would offer it to you, too![/QUOTE]
ha, me too.
Should I just exchange and go for the less-modest, more expensive version of the one I really wanted? (Below)
I hate how models are size negative 14. Of course it looks good on them! Show me a short model with a pudge and love handles, then I'll consider buying a bathing suit I see online.
Well, I mean, I only bought it online because it was sold out at the store I went to. I've only seen "not stick thing girls" wear this cut of suit in public, so I dunno. I'm no stick; I have huge hips and a fat droopy ass -- but I wasn't going to not buy a type of suit I wanted because the model is skinny...??
I didn't see the part where you said the store sold out. I was more engrossed in the pictures.
I haven't worn a bathing suit in about 3 years, anyways.
Check your PMs in a couple of minutes!
I tore throw the first 9 episodes of Girls in the last 2 days. The writing is so good.
I just want someone who wants to hang out all of the time, who thinks I'm the best person in the world and wants to have sex with only me. And it makes me feel very stupid to tell you this because it makes me sound like a girl who wants to, like, go to brunch. And I really don't want to go to brunch, and I don't want you to sit on the couch while I shop or even meet my friends. I don't even want that.

Kat I like the second suit but I could never pull it off. For me, I'd pick the first one. For you, the second!
I think both suits are super cute, Kat. I think I like the first one better, because I just keep picturing the crazy racing strip tan line I'd end up with from the second one. I'm also thinking it might gap funny when sitting up?
I still need to pick out new suits for this year. I've been stalling because I've put on some weight
The only swimming suits I have are bikinis, I've gained some belly weight, and I'm going to Sanibel Island in Florida in a few weeks. Argh. I have trouble finding one piece swim suits that are for flat chested women. Triangle bikini tops and small underwire tops are usually the right size though, but I don't want to showcase my bulging belly. I look like I'm 3 months pregnant or something.
I realize that I am probably comparing myself to swimsuit models (like the one above) and not regular women, but I still feel a bit roly poly at the middle. Perhaps I should just try on my suits and see what Jacob says.
edit: and thank you, Audra!
everyone has fat on their bellies. every model in every swimsuit is standing and stretched out, laying down, arms over their heads, not moving around and sitting on a beach or bending at the middle at all, when even they would have rolls and creases.

I just added the season to my netflix queu for when it finally comes out. You all have me wanting to buy the premium channels. I guess that wouldn't be too difficult since I won't have to pay for the Sunday ticket this year.
I was sad that the season ended because it just started getting really good during the last 3 or 4 episodes. I was really close to abandoning the show before that, and now I can't wait for season 2.
I should mention that my husband HATES it. I think he doesn't like that Hannah is weird-looking and gets naked all the time. And maybe all the girl talk. I caught him watching it a bit while he was playing on his computer though (our computer is in our bedroom).
I really need to start watching this show. I have the place to myself next weekend. Maybe I'll make is a sweat pants, wine and Girls kind of event.
