That's how Riot Fest Denver did it the year I went. Big empty space out in farm country? Fence it off and charge $20/day to park there.
Someone posted this to FB today: July 1st is Friday should we still be expecting our refunds before then? I'd just like some kind of update on when if I'm ever getting my refund
RIP. We'll always have Kutsher's.
Some day split stuff I found. (Two of the headliners list Friday on their sites, so some of this could be wrong.)
Electric Wizard (band website)
Drive Like Jehu (band Facebook)
Also, I parked in artist/staff parking in 2014, and we used the same road in and out as the main lot (it was just tucked closer to the stages). Having those cars in a different area entirely could...
Totally agree with this. That's been my only significant complaint the two years I've gone.
Can't remember, how much was parking there last year? Wasn't it $10 or $20?
Has anyone here seen Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith live? Debating whether to leave Parquet Courts' set early to catch hers in its entirety. Her new album (EARS) sounds like something that could be pretty...
I will say, however, that the line to pick up Thursday night in 2014 (15 min or so) was longer than the one to get my pass onsite last year on Friday (under 5 min). Basically, my experience has been...
Also not listed on the lineup page anymore. Bummer. Their new album is good.
Edit: Messaged the band and got this back: "we had to cancel Levitation, we will be back on the road when we ll have a...
$20 for a 6-pack of craft beer sounds pretty ok to me by festival standards.
A Place to Bury Strangers added.
They were on the poster when it was first released last weekend (see list above). Far as I can tell, only add since has been High on Fire.
Expanded lineup (headliners coming in March, according to the FB page)
PSYCHO LAS VEGAS 2016
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
BLUE OYSTER CULT
UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS...
I definitely remember Liars being cut off due to a noise curfew, though.
Oneohtrix canceled in 2014. Holy Wave and Asteroid played Thurs night parties, not the festival proper. Black Angels/Christian Bland helped found the fest, so they're expected repeats. And Panda and...
I have this feeling, too. Maybe like Black Angels -> Brian Wilson -> Animal Collective on the main stage and Boris -> Sunn -> Sleep in the tent.
I'm guessing some of Boris/Sunn/Sleep will conflict with AC/BW Saturday night, but it would be be great if they could schedule Boris and Sunn earlier in the night, then AC/BW and then Sleep to close...
Ooh, Slowdive is headlining. That should mean a nice, long set. And to all those who insisted I was wrong about BW and AC playing the same night, ahem. :)
Love the Ween add, and good to see...
GNR, M83 (same night as Miike Snow), Foals, Stapleton, and a few others I can't remember at the moment.
At Hard Rock Hotel, though they haven't said which venue(s) specifically. Lineup so far (headliners...
Massive equipment problems. Went on like 20 min late and shit still wasn't working. They were clearly crushed and played like they wanted to be anywhere but there. I saw them a few years later and it...
From Woods tour schedule
Sat-Apr-30 Austin, TX Levitation Austin
Animal Collective and Brian Wilson pairing up on a night makes sense to me, given BW's obvious influence on AC. And don't forget that BJM headlined a night in 2014, though they are lower on the...
Animal Collective plays Friday
Brian Wilson plays Friday
Caribou plays Sunday
Oneohtrix Point Never plays Friday
That's what I was thinking. He brought a really interesting set to ATP NY, but that was billed as Caribou Vibration Ensemble, so we probably won't get anything that experimental here.

Earthless is great live.
Had a blast. A few sleep-deprived thoughts ...
Favorite acts: The Black Ryder, A Place to Bury Strangers, The Myrrors. Also dug Follakzoid, White Fence, The Sword, Creepoid, Survive, Chui Wan and...
Friday night is a cluster. I'll probably miss Soft Moon and Lightning Bolt, and go White Fence -> (some) Spiritualized -> Sword -> (some) Tame Impala -> Metz
Creepoid added, per the band's Facebook page.
Cloudland Canyon added to Friday (http://strangevictorytouring.com/cloudlandcanyon/)
Apart from the 2013 cancellation, anyone here have good/bad things to say about this one?

Bunkhouse is another option for drinks and is promising secret shows. http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/ae/music/2014/oct/24/life-is-beautiful-bunkhouse-beers-secret-shows/
Atomic Liquors, on the other end of the fenced-in LIB area (10th street), is a solid pretty great dive, too. Good rotating taps.
Commonwealth is super douchey. I'd recommend the Griffin or Downtown Cocktail Room, or even the Banger Brewing tasting room just down the street.
Downtown Stage, 3:30 Sunday.
