    Re: Sasquatch! 2017

Pretty much everything will seem disorganized compared to Coachella. Coachella is easily the most organized festival I've ever been to taking size into account.

I totally forgot about the tunnel under the road for singing 'Just a Friend'. Totally an improvement on the experience, though that is really just something the venue did.

You might be right about Bonnaroo but I don't think Sasquatch really needs to attract people from afar. It only have a capacity of like 27k or something, meanwhile Coachella has to sell close to 200K...

I know basically nothing about Hangout fest but how big is that one and how was the reaction? The lineup is very similar though they do have Mumsons on their top line.

Vancouver festival announced it's moving to a (much smaller) indoor venue. No reason given. The weather doesn't seem like it will be much of a problem, a little rain perhaps.

From what I understand Live Nation took over the booking in 2014, hence the drastic lineup change from headliners like Queens of the Stoneage and Vampire Weekend to Bruno Mars, Eminem and Arcade Fire.

That's actually a pretty solid lineup for a small fest but the prices are insane. It costs roughly the same per day as the Austin fest and the lineups aren't even close to comparable.
