  1. Re: Exactly why is wristband activation required?

I don't think anyone has really answered the original question of why activation is required. No one is saying they won't register or that it's difficult, etc. It's just curiosity about why we have...
  2. Re: Exactly why is wristband activation required?

I don't think anyone really has an issue, just curious about why it's required. Will they actually replace a wristband if something happens to it?
  3. Poll: Re: How many people do you go to Coachella with?

Have attended with both large and small groups, I feel that a small group is the way to go. It's weird when you're in a group and you want to break off and go see an act on your own and some people...
  4. Poll: Re: Worst thing about the current coachella format

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'd be very happy if Coachella became a 21 and over festival. It was so nice being at CRSSD a couple weeks ago and being able to walk around the festival with a beer...
  5. Re: Exactly why is wristband activation required?

Why though? Seems to me that it should just work as is, but there must be more to it than that.
  6. Poll: Re: Have you had an amazing time at Coachella without d?

I think 2005 was the only year I did Coachella completely sober. It was fun as always. Coachella certainly doesn't require any kind of intoxication, but I like to drink so I drink.
  7. Poll: Re: How many times did you POOP in the port-a-pottys?

Once a day. I have a very regular schedule of which I'm quite proud.
  8. Re: Who will Jack White bring as a surprise guest?

I'm already practicing rolling my eyes for when I overhear people speculating that Meg White will appear.
  9. Re: Who hasn't ever played Coachella that you'd like to see in 15?

I sincerely hope there is a better chance of you being Miss America in 2016.

    Re: Coachella Looks for Less

I cringe a little at how festival attendees seem to care less about the music and more about the fashion each year. But at the same time, it's silly to ignore that style, fashion, etc. are big...

Re: RULES ABOUT CAR CAMPING PASSES

This has been a rule for a few years, but like others have said I don't think I've ever heard of anyone being turned away because they did not have a wristband that was purchased with their camping...

Is anyone really so into hula hooping that they can't live without it for part of three days? You can hoop in the camping area, you can hoop at home, you can hoop just about anywhere in the world...

I thought this festival was exceptional. Most of the complaints I've heard are either minor or come from people who apparently don't go to many festivals. Amazing location, and very well organized...

Guests are only cool if they're really a surprise. Slash playing with Motorhead is probably my favorite Coachella guest simply because Motorhead really didn't need a guest and no one expected them...

Re: ANYONE WHO LIKES ANYTHING IS A HIPSTER

In that respect it's kind of like calling someone a "bro."

    Or have bro's embraced that label now? I just can't keep up with the trends...which I guess means I'm not a hipster...unless I can't...

Re: Who will be this year's sleeper? 2015

Royal Blood is going to one of the big breakout acts of this year. They completely upstaged the Pixies when they opened for them in 2014.

Re: Worst Coachella Lineup ever put together.

This method of comparing lineups is completely flawed. Even if it were objective it completely ignores the fact that not all acts you want to see are equal.
  26. Poll: Re: How much time do you spend in Beer Gardens, Terrace etc?

It really just depends what's going on and who I'm hanging out with. Last year I spent more time than I should have. Looking at the lineup for this year I have a feeling I'll be in the beer garden...

  30. Re: Most hilariously annoying/bad discoveries of 2015

Hozier is the worst thing on the lineup that I'm aware of. That's just based on "Take Me to Church," but I'd be surprised if any other artist has a worse song.
