So tempted, but so skint. Love SXSW.
Your whole system drifts up on its own? Odd.
Not the same since Marty left.
The Sundays are always a possibility. More chance of Bowie doing a duet with Scott Walker in the Sahara than seeing the Cocteau Twins reforming now.
If anyone still gives ATP money, they are truly quite dumb (or possibly have a gambling addiction).
Just need to find out who the other 5 headliners are.
Lisbon is so damn cheap. €1 beers ahoy. Will dig out a couple of cool places to check out there from my last jaunt over.
The Royal Festival Hall show last week was fucking ace.
Will see you in June!
Easily my favourite show of the year.
There are only 15,000 coach tix out of 180,000. Definitely going next year. Sunday will be the usual trauma.
I stayed at Worthy View. Quite a steep hill to get up at the end of the night/morning, but stayed pretty much mud free all weekend. Plus showers.
The scout tents are a lot bigger than they look. Enough room to stand up in.
Vincent Tan is my favourite Bond villain of all time.
Spooks - helping out those that don't bother to join the mailing lists of bands they like since 2007.
Spooks - when Bat For Lashes writes a song about you, I'll start taking notice of the things you say/copy/paste too. Until then...
What the actual fuck!
Icemouse: Read the terms - at no point (either before or revised) do Dash hold on to any money.
From what Dash have said about the event, not only did they give ATP an advance, but they also...
Of course! Dash are suing ATP because Dash have the money. Makes perfect sense. They actually changed the terms before cancellation, but after giving ATP the ticket sales money so far.
If it had gone ahead it'd be 100% the end of ATP. Running off with the money from 2000 tickets = also the end of ATP, but with a nice retirement fund.
Everyone trying to distance themselves from this shitstorm. Doubt we'll see an ATP stage at Primavera next year.
Still a love for ATP? Looks like they are going into administration. Looks like any Jabberwocky/Iceland purchasers are fucked.
ATP say contact ticket agency for refunds. Ticket agency says contact ATP. I say fuck Barry Hogan!
My favourite feature is being able to find places that serve a specific beer I'm in the mood for.
Thinking of doing Melt next year. Looks like a cool site.
Giving money to ATP at the moment is a bit of a gamble. I know so many people who are holding off on buying Jabberwocky tickets as they are scared of losing their cash. BTW I haven't been to the ATP...
What happened to me? From in with a chance of winning it to no mention at all.
Edit - I see I'm not even on the doc.
Both Iceland and Portugal are fab. You can always time a trip to coincide with Primavera, ATP Iceland or Iceland Airwaves too.
London is shit for NYE. Everybody leaves the city. It will be a ghost town. Just so you are aware.
It's all on last.fm, but I have it on word too in case they go bye bye at some point.
Amsterdam is in the UK now? Cool.
Portugal is currently the cheapest place to visit in Europe, and also one of the most beautiful. Great food too.
I don't remember Amsterdam being expensive,...

Best extra time ever! Possible sunset slot for 2015.
T'was a fun week(end).
Spent most of my time in the Crows Nest - why see bands at the Peel Stage/West Holts/Williams Green when you can hang at a tiny little hut and see them do their thing.
Aussies - travelling the world to hang out with other Aussies. Standard.
Refs don't call offsides, but I get what you mean.
No easy run in for Argentina if they finish 2nd in the group.
Hold on - I have money on Argentina to win it. Good call ref.
Definitely a penalty. Bloody refs.
Portishead (and others) covering the Thunderbirds soundtrack.
What the fuck does Arabic have to do with Cricket?
Last night was so damn good. So many great covers, a new track written 30 minutes before he played plus some Mark Lanegan action.
Despacio was fun. That's my nights sorted.
I think that might go to the Spanish getting handed their biggest defeat for over 50 years. Nobody expected The Dutch to have a hope.
It's the annual Xanman talks to himself thread.
Sounds like some kind of Loop Fiasco.
