I got my hands on some plastic Growlers and will be filling them up Wednesday night. If you have any good Microbreweries close they useally have no problems filling em up for the same price...
And besides me going with this years British Invasion theme, a couple cases of these bad boys and a bag of Oranges always hits the spot.
My weekends will not be complete unless I get a proper smoke break with Dr Lee PhD in the flesh.
A ton of talented Female vocalist on the bill this year but Lisa Gerrard is a world renowned talent like very few else.
I locked in Baltimore +5 when the spreads first came out. It's down to 49ers -3.5 now. I can't go against the Ravens after they won me a boat load vs the Pats on my bet for them to win outright...
I'm not going to lose any sleep over missing RHCP this year. I'm gonna be camped out at wherever Dead Can Dance is anyways on Sunday.
Not too many Jam Bands goin on this year folks. J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr has been known to go off from time to time. I've also heard the Peppers go for some long jams as well.
Nice article. It's very informative. Thank you for your time in putting it out there.
It will all depend on the crowd size for most of my favorites but I'll be awfully close for Dead can Dance I'd imagine.
Here's my top 10 for the weekend but they are all very comparable. They each have specific traits that make them extremely talented.
1. John Squire
2. J Mascis
3. Lou Reed
I'm hoping for a Sunday 2 hour close the Outdoor Theatre set kinda like Roni Size did back in 2009. Chances of that are slim too none but one can dream.
This was the set list at their last show. I realize they don't have that kind of time, but holy smokes, I'll take something along those lines. I think they might very well be my #1...
Wow! NFL and Coachella. My two most favorite things. Great Job TomAz! As a Cardinal Season Ticket Holder since 1990, It has definitely been a wild and crazy trip. I'm excited for a new...
I hope so. They are no doubt on my "do not miss any of their set no matter what conflicts may exist" list, just like Leftfield was back in 2011.
I would Love to see Underworld close out the Outdoor theatre next year like they did back in 1999 but I'd take a Sahara Close just the same.
Incredible Talent! Underrated to be in the Middle of the Stacked Saturday. I will be seeing Her at LEAST one of the weekends but probably both.
I'll take these ten please:
4. Bizarre Love Triangle.
5. True Faith.
6. The Perfect Kiss.
7. Blue Monday.
Hells Yeah! They were Amazing in the Mojave in 2008 and will most certainly be again. I'm curious what time and location they will be this year as they are quite a bit lower on the Poster this time...
You have Great taste in Music DaFunky. I could list off a couple dozen unknown by most Ambient groups that would have a great response at Coachella. To deprive ones musical palette of these genres...
The Last time that Coachella didn't sell out was in 2008 and the lack of crowds was fantastic. With all the initial hate for the lineup so far, I'm crossing my fingers for another Chill 2008.
Sounds like a Boat Load of people need to get busy and start doing some serious research on bands they are not familiar with that are on the poster this year. I believe that most of the unhappy...
As much as We all would Love a Saturday Headliner Add-On, The only way it happens is if tickets do not sell out. Even if that happens, which it won't, they still might not add. 2008's Prince add was...
I'm already seeing a RIDICULOUS amount of potential schedule conflicts due too this Stacked Line-Up! Thank God I'm going both weekends!
Wow! That'll do just fine!
I'm down with some Cibo Matto live action, but only if Miho Hatori also sings with The Gorillaz and Beastie Boys as well later in the day.
Fantastic Work. So Many great memories! You definitely have a talent for capturing Coachella.
Last year, the Line Up came 6 days after the "Tease Video". I'm gonna have a Hell of a time if they wait till Monday the 28th to release this years Line Up but at least we have hope on the horizon.
Best: 2008 was absolutely incredible for me. Line-Up, Reasonable Crowds, The Art(I spent a good amount of time in the Sonic Forest), Just about everything was All Star that year. I can't really say...

Overzealous, straight out of prison Staff Members making a negative impact on the enjoyment of the festival.
baily ^ is right on the money.
I could see Gotye, Gary Clark Jr, First Aid Kit and Keep Shelley in Athens all coming back this year for round 2 and with a higher profile spot.
I'd also be down with Morcheeba, The Cardigans, The Sundays, Stone Temple Pilots, Sneaker Pimps(with Kelli), Enigma, Mr Bungle, Zero 7, Meat Beat Manifesto or White Zombie getting back to playing...
David Gilmore, Roger Waters and Nick Mason all together for a 2 hour set to close the Main stage would be alright with me.
3. St. Vincent.
4. Dr. Dre, Snoop & Friends.
The Prodigy, Underworld, Leftfield, Faithless, Aphex Twin, Future Sound of London, Autechre, Air , Lords of Acid, Daft Punk, Orbital, Tricky, UNKLE, Massive Attack.
They will announce the Line-Up right after Bowie officially tells them "NO" yet again and they concede and put out their slightly watered down version.
I'm down for some Santana at Coachella! He's all about House of Blues in Vegas though these days. He's doing some over sea's shows in February and March and back to Vegas in May. Looks like he has...
You know you guys would be down for some Traci early day in the Sahara when the selection is a bit thin. She could do her Oakenfold "Fallen Angel", Juno Reactor "Control", Ramones "Acid Eater". ...
I wish the Black Crowes could be there! They are playing Phili on April 12th, Detroit on the 14th, St Louis 19th, and Nashville on the 20th and 21st. A 15 min version of "Wiser Time" at the Outdoor...
