    No, this was my first time seeing them. I thought they were great (no maid outfit, just a black dress). Marissa was quite charismatic. Rolling around on the ground, headbanging, etc.

    I don't think anyone that lives in Austin is a huge fan of sx. I know so many people that leave town during the fest. I only did one showcase and I still can't wait for it to be over.

    The Spin SXSW showcase was absolutely fantastic. Metz and Run the Jewels murdered it as always, but this was my first time seeing Courtney Barnett. Even better then advertised. Believe the hype...

    Say what you want about Brothers, but that album at least had some emotion behind it. El Camino sounds like one long commercial jingle and Turn Blue was just plain dull.

    Really digging the new Screaming Females. Their albums have always been hit or miss with me, but this one grabbed me instantly. Seems more polished than their previous efforts.

    Was kind of iffy on the new Tame Impala single when I hit play... but as the song progressed I found myself enjoying it more and more. The song is definitely different (it's more electronic-based)...
