Didn't Dani request info about the bugs in another thread a while back? Not that we should be doing QA for a well-funded operation like Goldenvoice, but I'm sure some "about it" person here responded...
I checked in right after they'd sold the last large. Did they even print any XLs? They definitely didn't make any XXLs, even after I told them to on Facebook! ;P
Don't they know this is 'Murica...
One color print... better not be $35. But will likely buy it regardless.
C'mon, people! This show's gonna be sweet, so buy those tickets already.
Getting excited for another Sunday funday. Stoked that our new spot is right by a subway stop. Riding the rails to the Bowl is the way to go.
They don't mention liquor in the rules. We've brought bottles of whisky or vodka on a number of occasions over the years and never had any issues.
Not sure why I didn't think Walmart... well, other than I hate going in there.
I hope you're right. Any excuse is a good excuse to go to the Bowl.
Where's the best place in LA to buy a bunch of those little glowsticks?
I'm in L1, row 4... and we've got a friend's b-day party that's got a whole row somewhere close by. I'll see about getting them on board for some glowruption fun.
Why is this show so far from sold...
Has anyone gotten tickets for the LA show?
$81.35 with fees for floor tickets. Damn, that's a bold move. I'm struggling to think if there's a band I'd pay that much to see (provided it's not some...
They also had a special coupon that was handed out at Goodwill locations last year.
I'm a fan of many on the lineup, but feel the stand-up quality is somewhat lacking this year.
Was just reading a silly article on Thrillist about how to sneak booze into OSL. Their methods were stupid, but some dude in the comments section suggested burying bottles in the forest. Obviously...
I think it's those shortened links from the "share" section of the video page that cause trouble.
Hmm, now it's stuck on the "One Moment Please"
to refresh or not refresh?
Anybody get through?
I'm not mad at this lineup. But I'd prefer it like this.
I wouldn't be mad if this happened at the Jaxx show.
How about they bring the Despacio sound system to the Yuma.
Based on the new tour dates for Van Halen, I'd say they're a lock.
reminded me of this
From the Basement Jaxx Facebook...
Damn, I could have waited and picked up cheaper tix to all my shows. I got on the "buy 5" deal like a sucker. On the plus side I might actually end up in my real seats for once.
Yes, and yes.
But I assume there will be less dust at the Fairplex which will be nice.
Goddamn Gary Richards. I thought I was done with HARD events.
I need to do a little more research on Saturday's undercard, but Sunday is filthy with good beats.
Yeah, Motel 6 in Claremont! That...
Most of it is here http://www.davidjweissberg.com/portfolio/camp-magazinecoachella/
What rubes are still paying for VIP tickets?
Did anyone catch Sir Mix-a-Lot in the Heineken House? A serious, pre-Baby Got Back fan wants to know.
But the grass is so nice and green weekend 1. That's all I got.
Oh, and this year is was a few degrees cooler.
Alabama Shakes - April 21
Chet Faker - April 22
Not only is this on a channel not found on many cable providers, they also don't have a channel on Apple TV or Roku, nor do they stream their content online. What a crock of shit.
On top of all...
Dang, I think I'll have to grab a ticket for Friday since they're so cheap. Already got floor for Thursday.
Yeah, he was way animated... especially for a big guy. We had a great time at his set.
My hip hop friends said he sounds a lot like Ghostface.
I guessed right! I didn't guess that there would be dudes with their entire bodies painted red. Wow.
Does the Seminole look like he's being fellated?...
Can't say I've had the pleasure. I assume it involves parodic Native American dancing, tomahawk chops, and some ooh-ooh-ooh-oohs?
Coming off the shuttles, the first security gate didn't do anything except tell people "no glass bottles" and had us beep our wristbands.
I rode with a friend on Saturday, and the first security...
Wait, can someone remind me why it's offensive to wear headdresses? I mean, if you were doing some parodic Native American dancing and doing the tomahawk chop and cupping your hand over your mouth...
I definitely can't disagree with the thread title... but we just saw them at the Shrine a few months ago and Todd Terje won out. It was a gamble that paid off.
I left St. Vincent (which I was thoroughly enjoying, I might add) to check out the second half of Jaime xx. I was very pleased with my decision.
Sweet! Many thanks.
We got up fairly close for Jack White with no problem at all. We were a bit farther back for AC/DC and Drake, but felt like we could have easily moved up quite a bit. There always seemed to be a lot...
Looked like a bunch of tweakers up in there when I took a break from AC/DC to jog over for a listen. The beats were furious, but there was no energy in the tent. I left after about 10 minutes.
I never saw a line. I think because it's farther away from everything else this year.
The floor was very smooth and you could run and slide a good distance.
Friday - pretty even split
Saturday - lots of Mojave
Sunday - craft beer barn
Yes, I know the order is reversed on Sat/Sun. I'd already laminated two of them when I noticed. So, f it.
