That actually isn't true...
Uhhhh yea. I'm listening to this right now and it is down-right fucking disturbing. I LOVE IT.
Since this album doesn't seem to have been brought up in discussion here, I'd like to throw it out there for your listening pleasure. It's called Antikatastaseis by the band Abyssal, and if you're a...
I'm going to have to really give that Tribulation album a try. I thought they were laughable at best when opening for Deafheaven. I've never been a big fan of the "death 'n roll" pseudo-subgenre, and...
Any 2015 metal list missing Abyssal's Antikatastaseis serrrriously fucked up, but I'm happy to see Leviathan and Cult Leader in there.
Never checked them out until now. Pretty awesome stuff. The idea of them and The Cure playing Sasquatch already has me more excited about the 2016 lineup than 2015.
Bumbershoot is in September. These dates only go through June.
This is actually a very common occurrence for artists touring through the Gorge. Wouldn't make much sense to say, "There will also be a George, WA performance...On-sale and show info announced soon."...
I know most of you hate on Shambhala, but the Dirtybird takeover on the Pagoda stage this Friday night is going to be fucking mental.
Silent Circus, Alaska, and Colors are a few of my all-around favorite albums of all time, with Alaska being at the top, but I really just can't get into anything they've put out since. The balance...
Have any of you been to a DB BBQ? A handful of my friends and I jumped on some tickets for the Seattle date this summer. Pretty curious what people have thought of past BBQs.
Since this will possibly be my last full year living in Seattle I decided to finally by the full festival pass instead of individual sets. Can't wait to immerse myself in everything it has to offer.
Frida was at the gala and said she'd have it up for sale on her website after the festival. Check her other stuff out as well. She does wonderful work.
One of my favorites from the Sasquatch poster gala last week. Some of my other favorites haven't been put online yet.
So...what was this art display that was supposed to shoot hundreds of thousands of projectiles into the air?
What in the holy fuck exactly is this Gaslamp Killer set, and what cocktail of drugs do I have to be on to actually want to watch that?
Whaa? Hmm, very interesting.
Yep I'll be there. I'm not entirely excited about the lineup though, so I haven't been paying much attention to any rumors since it came out. What have you heard? I talk semi-frequently with the...
I've been pretty terrible at saving most surprises for next weekend, but I had to turn off St. Vincent almost immediately. I don't want to spoil anything. God damn she's a fucking rockstar.
This Ryan Adams set is fucking gorgeous. I hate myself for needing some Brand New nostalgia, because them vs. Adams just became my worst conflict for next weekend. Thank god he's playing the main...
Is he touring with Talabot or something? If he was performing a live show I would have absolutely thought there would be a chance of a Pional stand-alone set.
Well fuck me. A-Trak made it sound like he's only performing weekend 1, which likely means the whole lineup is only weekend 1. Le sad.
I will be attempting this as well.
This will be my first weekend 2 experience. Not sure how well I'm going to deal with sitting patiently at home while the first weekend is in effect.
One advantage Pemberton has with their late lineup, in my eyes, is that by now I've become so used to disappointing 2015 festival lineups that I really didn't have any remaining expectations, so I'm...
I was kind of hoping for an early(ish) Gobi set a la Frank Turner last year. Definite daytime music, but I just can't always enjoy a set to it's full potential in that direct sunlight.
He was one of my top hopefuls for ANY festival I'm attending this year. I was very fucking pleased to see him on the lineup.
Skrillex =/= Jack U.
NIN and Jane's Addiction combined their NINJa tour with Sasquatch in 2009. This kind of thing isn't totally unheard of.
It was MUCH nicer up there than back home in Seattle. The rain got worse and worse the further south I drove. It was a great weekend!
Last year was my first time, and I had the best festival experience of my life. There was a hint at a Dirty Bird BBQ this year, and with the amount of their roster on the lineup I'm thinking there's...
Went to Whistler for the weekend, so I figured I'd drive the extra 30 minutes. Totally worth it being such a beautiful drive.
Have some of you people never had anything delivered to you, ever? I'm genuinely curious.
Drove by the grounds this weekend. That's where the hellish staircase that went across the road was at.
I was really surprised to not see his name on the leaked Shambhala lineup poster. He doesn't seen to be doing any American festivals under that moniker.
You should probably go back to lurking.
Either Haerts or Alvvways.
How the FUCK does Faith No More travel through LA right in the fucking middle of Coachella but not end up on the lineup?
I have a strange feeling that both Bjork and MMJ end up at Sasquatch. I'm most likely wrong, but for some reason I just feel it.
Holy shit. That guy was a thing around here as well? We had to run him off the Sasquatch board a couple of years ago.
Most miraculous and improbable win of all time?
SUPER BOWL BOUND, BABY!
