No. Not really.
I don't know where to start with that.....
Agree. Just don't see them announcing their first big show outside of the UK. If they did then get ready for a large travelling contingent from over here.
I was going to be pass remarkable about...
This thread has you covered - don't think anything really changed this year.
My question is whether Ed Sheeran actually fits in with "the rules"
Did anyone stay Safari this year ? If so - how was it and any changes on 2015 - good or bad?
and yet here you are on page 10 of a Guns N Roses thread. What the fuck is going on?!?
They asked for ID at Safari check in last year for each guest (4 of us shared)
Weekend One all gone.
1. Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction
2. NWA - Straight Outta Compton
3. M83 - Hurry Up We're Dreaming
4. Underworld - Dubnobasswithmyheadman
5. Deafheaven - Sunbather
6. Ice Cube - The...
I'm just happy you haven't dropped the Axwell ^ Ingrosso references.
Before doing any real in-depth line up research
2. LCD Soundsystem
4. Years & Years
So my thinking is Outdoor for Underworld, Jack U on Main after LCD and 2ManyDJs closing Sahara?
^this. Its 100% vinyl. No compromise.
Usually from 6pm to close (going on previous festivals and dependent on their commitments as individual artists at the same festival)
They dont schedule who is DJing at specific times within that,...
I do think James and 2ManyDJs would be precious about sharing their audio set up with other artists.
In terms of the clusterfuck... I get your point, I do think the tent will sit somewhere on the...
Nice description and video on this link guys
At the festival I was at they had their own bespoke tent. This is due to the unique 360 speaker set up. Its also completely blacked out from the outside etc.
The tent opened from 6pm to 2am every...
21 - pretty proud of that!
Having experienced Despacio at Electric Picnic in Ireland last year - I can safely say we are in for a treat here!!
CHURCHES would be second line without a doubt.
Great poster though!
Either that or an arena tour with Duran Duran is more lucrative?
Not sure why more hasn't been said about the possibility of them playing, all seems to fit timing wise....?
I know a few people who have seen them at some of the european festivals captn listed.....it will be a party not to be missed.
I got as far as Iron Maiden and stopped reading.
That was a PARTY.
Adele came out on UK radio today and confirmed she won't play Glastonbury because of the size of the crowd. If she won't do the biggest festival in the UK - there is no point speculating on her...
People also generally check if there are existing threads covering the same topic.
Right, sounds like Phil's is a lock. Will check out everything else. Thanks all.
Great - thanks - had been thinking about staying out at the beach and will look in that direction. Now I'm going to have to google Phil's Barbeque!
So after travelling over for Coachella the last 3 times, I've always used LA as our base for a couple of days beforehand. Next year I've booked to fly into San Diego and will be there Monday through...
I'm a little bias but I would really recommend Belfast over Liverpool - two hours north of Dublin on the bus and my little city has really become a great place for visitors once we decided to hang...
Looks really good - maybe missing a sahara headliner for the Friday (unless you reckon the Prodigy fill that spot - although I would see them as a better fit on the outdoor?)
I wouldnt worry, Valley Music Travel will have purchased a block of rooms from the hotel and won't have provided customers names yet.
I think Rage with new material (that doesn't stink) would definitely get booked again. They had/have a wider much reach in terms of fanbase than Tool.
However I get the sense from this thread that...
If true, there will be plenty of other acts on at the same time as Calvin.
To get the original GNR line up back would be huge from a worldwide publicity perspective alone and if everyone was...
I know they have been doing the rounds in terms of rumours a little ....
This line stood out "before flying back to the USA at the end of March for ten...
To be fair, he has previous for selecting 25 headliners.
Mumford & Sons
Haven't had it off the stereo all day - brilliant stuff. Shaker Obsession is a song that will be unreal live.
If stuck..... grab this bargain ;)
Anyone who says they wouldn't watch the original GNR line up is a fucking idiot and only lying to themselves.
Love Bon Iver and would be happy with that but struggle to see him as a headliner...
I regret not making the effort to go check them out - the video for Mens Needs looked like the crowd were having a blast
I saw a lot of love for Kasabian & Run The Jewels
and that's just for GA passes
Surely we should all shut up and wait until MotorAve comes back to keep us right?
And even those are guest passes - not full access
Would you not swap Vampire Weekend for Mumford & Sons who seem more likely at this point to take a headline slot for next year?
