Also. Torn Curtain was awesome.
There was a lack in energy but I had fun. The main downer was Verlaine's vocals for me. On record he's so full of life.
Man, I hate Lucic.
I check the Shrine's page and there's no mention of Anthrax
Oh, it is fucking on!
Is 1989 actually worth a listen?
So that means it shouldn't be too hard to find someon wanting to sell one ticket from their two day pass purchase? Sweet. Thanks!
Are they selling single day tickets? I don't see any on the site. Seems really lame that a festival known for two distinctly different days of music would not sell single day tickets.
It's a shame how busy and exhausted I've been to sit down and finally listen to such an exciting release by, pretty much, my favorite band. But once I do, it'll be on repeat for a long time.
Exactly how I felt about their Roxy show. I had no idea they'd be so captivating.
I fucking love this board.
Don't worry. A bunch of us have been on before 1100 and are being rewarded by over 30 mins of waiting. Yaaaaay.
Been stuck since 1058. Are people having a relatively easy time purchasing?
Ahh whaaaa? Is it too late for me, PF? *single tear*
That's the day I picked it up. Had no problems whatsoever. But I they don't give you the box they mail the wristband in :(
I had to pick mine up at will call this year. I activated it the same day I picked it up. As long as you do it before you arrive at the festival grounds you're good.
Mangum dedicated Ghost to D. Boom as well. And he called the Minutemen the best band ever.
^Just grabbed that last week! Woo!
Also I finally picked up a copy of In the Areoplane Over the Sea yesterday at NMH.
Neutral Milk Hotel was so fucking magical for me yesterday. It was the NMH show I've been hoping for.
Were Wax Idols always on the line up? That's awesome.
Edit: just saw the original poster. great Add.
REM - Fables of the Reconstruction
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Henry's Dream.
Sounds great, Lizzard. Also I have fallen deep for Hop Along and cannot stop listening to Well-Dressed. Got the LP. Got a tickets for the Echo show and realized I double booked myself for the night....
That's freakin' great and sad at the same time. I love details of unique packaging and notes.
Also, Yakupov has been a bust so far. Hopefully Edmonton doesn't ruin McDavid as well.
Fucking nice Roberto
Happy Birthday! SKM-Benji Forever!
This sounds like the kind of Titus show I dream about. Usually it's me and several others just shouting till their throats can't handle it any more.
I too dream of a euphoric show. But I'm not...
Hop Along - Painted Shut
Titus Andronicus - The Airing of Grievances.
Me too. But I'm always too busy singing along and losing all of my shit to worry about how well they're doing on stage.
I grabbed Modest Mouse first and then FYF payment plan on my phone. VERY EASY
With Moz I would think at least Single days will and then weekend passes should go soon after based on Moz fans.
Is there a ticket link for this thing yet?
Yesssss Joanna Gruesome
I heard that today too! Both good ones!
I enjoyed that Hop Along album this morning. The songs aren't always the most memorable but I'm really digging the lead singer's, Frances, voice. It's got a Ida Maria type of deal going on.
Doesn't Trader Joe's have a double IPA for like 2 bucks and around 8%abv? I remember buying it one time and it wasn't bad.
Ahh shit yeah. I need me one of these.
Thanks. I'll get on it.
It not really the live factor because I know that they blow people away. I remember that from the last time they played Coachella. I just never listened to much of their material besides Z and it...
These entire playoffs are becoming predictable and annoying besides the Tampa series. Really surprised at how bad Montreal is being whipped.
Maybe it's time to give MMJ another try soley based on the fact that I really want to see another show at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
Hell yeah I will. I wanna see the Red Mile flooded tonight.
It's good to hear that Patrick's vocals are back on a tear and less timid than Local Business tracks. Bumping this track till it's Dimed Out!
OH DEAR GOD THANK YOU
That sounds crazy too, Golf. Some of the best parts of this thread are people going the extra length to passionately parade albums that hits them hard. Good shit.
I've gotta say. It's good to see Bob Hartley back in a groove.
Quite the statement. Can't wait to give it a spin. And Chris, listen to the band Yung when you get a chance. Good frantic stuff with depth production.
It gets good there sometimes because the young guns bring back what they thought they'd like from Pitchfork reviews.
