beer garden security was the strictest security i faced all weekend , and that includes ontario airport
Beer garden security checked our bag one time on Friday. Didn't check again all weekend. Why it didn't occur to us to try pouring our beer into our old Coachella water bottles until Sunday night is beyond me, but oh well. There is always next year.
Any idea what the consequences are if they catch you trying to smuggle beer out of the garden?

They stopped serving at 11pm both Friday and Saturday night and stopped people from entering at 10:30pm. Too early.
TomAZ they allow beer to be moved around freely at Stagecoach so its not a local law or anything.
Understood. Stagecoach draws a different (older) demographic. The possibility of underage drinking is much more real at Coachella. So maybe it's a liquor license thing? dunno. But I really doubt GV is doing it just because they want to.
Yeah I am sure there is something behind it. I bet they would sell more beer if it wasnt gardened. I spent a lot more at Stagecoach on alcohol than I did at Coachella. Mostly cuz I was just sitting in my seat and drinking, not really running around and catching bands at different stages. I also wasnt camping so didnt get to pre game.Quote:
