Xanman, there is no way in hell you have a girlfriend. Stop it.
Also, you can always set up forwarding for your accounts all to funnel to the same place. That's what I do. I have 3 accounts all funnel to my gmail, and then I have it set up so when I reply to messages it automatically matches my return address to the account the e-mail was initially sent to. It works pretty well.
OMG OKCupid is SOOO funny.
On OKC right now for the first time in months and there are so many single women popping up in Long Beach. Must be all the gay men. Gang bangers. They should move.
I could have sworn there was a boy in my bed when I fell asleep last night. But now there's not. How confusing.
Is his arm still there?
My boyfriend and I have both said to one another that we've been concerned we're "fighting too much." I think the "too much" is there only because we're totally out of the "honeymoon" stages and into the more "serious" stages. (It's been 7 months now.)
We never scream or anything of that nature — just your usual raised/angry voices. We don't call each other names. We definitely don't hit one another. Usually the fights come about via miscommunication (ie: misinterpreted text messages) or one of us being generally frustrated/stressed about non-relationship things and those feeling spilling into the relationship. After fighting, we always end up coming to one another (either after talking it out, or after cooling down for 30 mins or so alone) and do the whole apologizing/explaining thing. ("I was actually mad because blah blah blah...")
I know fights are normal. I just need the reassurance that this shouldn't be anything to worry about. The attraction levels are just as crazy (if not more?) than when we first started dating, and we're generally in good spirits with one another.
At least you can both agree on something. Don't worry about what's normal. Do you want to be in an average relationship, or an above average relationship? One is certain to fail, while the other at least has a shot. Think for yourselves =)
Depends what you're fighting about, Kat.
Miscommunication is the #1 reason why men and women fight in my opinion (especially in my situation i.e. I'm not listening) so I would say that your fighting thus far is completely normal. You just can't let the fights eat at you otherwise you might end up really hating each other, when fights happen its best just to let tempers cool and move on as soon as you can.
Your opinion would be wrong.
No, my opinion is right goddammit. Your opinion of my opinion is wrong.
See, this is a perfect example. We're fighting right now. There was absolutely zero miscommunication involved. You communicated something stupid and I corrected you.
yes but we are two dudes fighting, I mentioned that that I felt men and women fight mainly due to miscommunication. I think males communicate with each other just fine, we don't fuck around.
Right, but the thing is that's an idiotic position. Chalking up all the fighting that happens when you have to deal with someone else's bullshit every day to "miscommunication" makes it out to be a mistake on their part. It's saying, "Well naturally men and women get along fine, but then when they don't fucking communicate properly everything goes to hell." That's just not the case. Naturally, most people--particularly men and women who are very different to begin with--are going to be able to agree on things even if they communicate perfectly. There's a fucking universe worth of shit to argue about besides just inaccurate communication, you cocksucker.
Like who gave who herpes.
Also I would be unhappy if my partner kept getting upset with me because of external bullshit, especially if it was to the point of picking fights to let off stream.
I just read what you wrote 3 times and I'm not quite sure what exactly it is you're trying to convey. If you are saying that not all miscommunication leads to arguments I totally agree, but when arguments do happen they frequently occur due to miscommunication. Anyways, thanks for making me feel like a big dumbass you fucking buttplug.
You gotta admit, Randy, that it's likely that chbludevil is involved in more than his fair share of miscommunicating.
See, this is a great example. Now, you could claim that we're fighting because of miscommunication, but we're not. We're fighting because you're dumb, and the fact that I miscommunicated is incidental.
You two aren't hitting each other? Something is wrong.
But I have no problem admitting that I am more dumb, so you win by virtue of being less dumb than I.
