Oh my God it's in Vegas!!! So many ravers are going to die and no one will care!!
I keep hearing this "five days" rumor, but I keep pushing it aside as bs. Would be pretty gnarly though...
Shows improvement on their part already as far as trying to establish a destination festival rather than a locals only party. If I can swing it I'm going to in a heart beat, Saturday of EDC last year provided me with the most solid 6-7 hour block of music I've ever heard and welcome the chance to do it all over again.
already there. cant wait.
and jeremy if you go, lets actually meet up and party this time! haha
I'll pre buy this year. Can't do it now, but hopefully have the $ by presale. It will be nice to book a room for cheap this far out instead of getting raped like last year. Hard to beat the EDC production. Hopefully, the AM bus situation improves.
I'm really digging the June 8-10 dates. That's going to be an awesome graduation present.

Las Vegas, October 6, 2011 – After hosting more than 230,000 amazing fans during Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas 2011, the world’s top musical and artistic talent will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) for the 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) on June 8, 9 and 10, 2012.
“When Insomniac decided to produce EDC in Las Vegas last June, we knew we were working with the ideal venue but we weren’t sure how our fans would react,” said Insomniac President and CEO Pasquale Rotella. “But after seeing more than 230,000 people show up to enjoy our show we knew we picked a City and venue that serves as the perfect home for the largest electronic music festival in North America.”
"We are thrilled to welcome the Electric Daisy Carnival back to Las Vegas and to Las Vegas Motor Speedway," said Chris Powell, president of LVMS. "EDC in 2011 provided a tremendous boost to our local economy. Additionally, the promoter of EDC, Insomniac, demonstrated that it operates a well-organized, safe and secure event. The people at Insomniac are proven professionals, and we're excited to work together to create an unforgettable EDC in 2012 here at LVMS."
EDC Las Vegas will be presented in 2012 as a Las Vegas Signature Event. “Las Vegas Events is proud to add Electric Daisy Carnival to its roster of Signature Events,” said Pat Christenson, President of Las Vegas Events. “We look forward to working with Insomniac on the development of EDC Las Vegas.”
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas was internationally recognized in September at the 2011 DJ Awards in Ibiza as the International Festival of the Year, where Rotella was in attendance to receive the award.
Tickets for this three-day experience go on sale at noon Pacific Time on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Three-day General Admission tickets will start at $215, three-day VIP tickets are to start at $500 each. There will be a limited quantity of single-day tickets available at a later date.
A special pre-sale event will take place at Insomniac’s debut Halloween festival, Escape from Wonderland, on October 29, 2011, where festival attendees will have exclusive access to purchase discounted advanced tickets for EDC Las Vegas from an Insomniac ticketing booth located inside the event. “The pre-sale is a special Thank You to fans who are coming out en-masse to support Insomniac’s first-ever Halloween event,” said Rotella.

Had a blast this year, cannot fucking wait for 2012. I wonder what the savings will be for those fortunate enough to buy at Escape from Wonderland. I will definitely buy pre-sale tickets in November.
So who is headlining? They wouldn't have repeat headliners would they?
One of those trance guys who starts with A
Benny Benassi (It's surprising how many events he's been in, how long he's been in the game, how he has the cheesy crowd and still has at least an ounce of respect with the purists but he never headlines so I give it to him this year)
Last year had its moments. Sunday was a fucking downer filled with pretty crappy music - wish I stuck with attending 2 days instead of all 3. Sunrise sets were a blast but all my festival funds for next year will be pocketed for my first trip to Sonar.
There were a lot of great moments for me in EDC Vegas 2011, but one of them that stands out and I'll never forget is the closing sunrise set with Boys Noize.
Same weekend as Bonnaroo, oh well. :(
Secret EDC ticket pre-sale at Escape from Wonderland
I'll be there. pm meQuote:
Tickets are already selling very quickly for our debut Halloween festival on October 29, and with artists like Afrojack, Borgore, Pendulum w/ MC Verse, and Steve Angello, it’s no wonder!
We’ve decided to sweeten the deal a little bit as a thank you to our fans for attending our first ever Halloween festival:
Attendees at Escape from Wonderland will have exclusive access to a limited pre-sale for Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 Las Vegas, before tickets go on sale to the public! On October 29, fans at the NOS Event Center can go to our special EDC booth located inside Escape from Wonderland and buy their specially discounted EDC Las Vegas 2012 full weekend GA or VIP tickets. Credit cards only.
Yeah of course why not?
Well good sir, in that case, I believe we will have some business to conduct in a few weeks.
Sounds good my friend! Anyone else don't be shy give me a holler
if i come up with some money i will definitely be hitting you up choice cat. what do you think they'll cost. 200 @ escape?
I was wondering the same thing too. If the 3-day GA are going to start at $215 plus fees, I wonder what kind of earth-shattering savings will be at escape. I wonder if you can avoid some service fees as well since it's in person? Who knows. But I'm all for saving money. More money for booze and drugs.
its definitely lookin like ill buy the friday and saturday tix at escape. if i dont like it, ill prolly jsut sell x2 price!
Don't worry everyone. Skrillex will be able to play EDC and Bonnaroo.
