Is anyone else going to Morrissey next Sunday? Or does anyone want to meet up Sunday evening before the show on Mill somewhere? I could use some company.
postal service is coming!
Yes, that date is nicely sandwiched between Coachellas!
Jenny Lewis, who actually played with the band on their first and only tour, we'll be joining them once again.
I missed out on floor tickets through the Postal Service website. I hope there is a Stateside presale.
Already? Damn. I would probably want a seat anyway, though.
Stateside just announced they will have a presale on Wednesday.
if i had money i pulled two and could have bought :( oh well, hopefully they'll still be tickets fri
4/8/13 - Tempe, AZ @ Marquee Theater
4/9/13 - Tucson, AZ @ AVA Amphitheater
They were fun at the Marquee a few years ago.
are you going to postal service, gribbz? amy? trying to find someone to go with. i'll buy a seated ticket in advance and y'all can pay me back by the show.
Ivy, I'll go with you.
I had a ticket to that show but couldn't go because I left my fucking keys in the drawer in our hotel room in San Francisco.
EDIT: regarding Phoenix.
The last Phoenix in Phoenix show was sold out at the Marquee. They should be in a bigger venue by now.
yeah how are postal service at comerica and phoenix at marquee? i love the postal service and all, but they're not really relevant.
One or both of them should be at Mesa Amphitheatre (except the noise/time constraints are horrible).
Maybe Phoenix is banking on the sell-out at the venue they previously played since they haven't released a new album yet so that they can play the bigger venue if/when they roll back around again. This also eliminates the potential embarrassment of playing to a partially empty Comerica Theatre days in advance of their Coachella headlining performance.
also, if anyone else wants to go to postal service and sit with amy & i, let me know soon. my tax refund is coming in and i'd be happy to front tickets for anyone i know until the show so we can all sit together :)
So many people were BEGGING for tickets outside of the venue the night of the show. I imagine it sells out quite fast.
Yeah I want Phoenix tickets too. Those two shows will take care of Coachella conflicts for me, snippety-snap!
In case anyone else is irritated with the Marquee's website, tickets to the Phoenix-the-band show are going to be $37 and go on sale 4/8.
That luckymanonline website is such an atrocity. It's ugly to look at and clicking on the link to buy tickets for the show takes you to a page that tells you when the show is, the maximum number of tickets you can buy, and how much parking is (and that it's cash only). It doesn't provide information that would actually be a little more pertinent than parking, such as how much the fucking tickets are or when they go on sale. They need to take a cue from the Crescent's website and make that information much more readily available.
Has anyone been able to find more info for the Stateside presale for Postal Service tomorrow?
what's the deal with the postal service live nation/stateside presale? do we need a code or something? looks like it's tomorrow at 10am.
