i did all the episodes up to last week off yidio, i had no problems with it whatsoever.
little bored with the story line so far, no a fan of dexter getting domesticated.
i was disappointed in the sitc movie, thought it was a very drawn out and predictable episode
i just finally finally caught up today.
i dont know how you can think dexter getting domesticated is boring. it makes me so fucking anxious i could vomit....definitely not boring.
domesticated isn't setting up for the next big murder binge for me, i liked how last season ended i even liked how ruthless he was he was with detective what's his name. rita also annoys me. am i missing something being set up?
I really dont like jimmy smits getting all partnerish with dex.....i think he might have to off him soon
Okay, Dexter seriously has the tackiest merchandise I've ever seen for a great tv show:
All I want for Christmas is an Angel Batista bobbelhead.
Oh man. I like the *idea* of the coaster set but not the execution of it. I should like to make my own now.
I have become addicted to this show. I had to watch it for a project in my TV Genres class and now I can't stop. I am only on the fourth episode of the first season though, so I am going to refrain from reading this thread.
Kick ass casting!!! Anything involving Lithgow is epic winQuote:
Academy Award-nominated and Emmy, Tony and Golden Globe award-winner John Lithgow will take on one of his most intense and intriguing roles to date portraying Miami's latest serial killer in Showtime's top-rated drama series "Dexter." Lithgow will be featured in all 12 episodes of season four which are scheduled to premiere Sunday, September 27th on Showtime.
Lithgow will play Walter Simmons, an unassuming, mild-mannered suburbanite who has been living a dual life as one of America's most prolific and deadliest serial killers. Dubbed the "Trinity Killer" because of his proclivity to kill in three's, he relocates to Miami after being tracked by F.B.I. Special Agent Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine). Brought on to assist in the investigation of Miami's latest serial killer, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) becomes fascinated with "Trinity's" unique killing methods and his ability to evade capture for almost three decades.
12 episodes? Damn you showtime.
John Lithgow is great and that character sounds interesting...!!!! I still need to catch up. I left off somewhere in season 3. I lost interest somewhere in the middle of the season but have been told that it picks up again. I just haven't found the time!
That sounds great, Lithgow as a serial killer just plain awesome. It sucks that we have to wait until September though. :(
I watched the first 2 seasons without fail and only bits and pieces of the 3rd.
John Lithgow as a serial killer really peaks my interest.
Think I'll be coming back to Dexter Camp.
I personally thought the 3rd season was better than the 1st and 2nd
I absorbed seasons 1 and 2 and missed 100% of season 3 so I have some catching up to do. But this casting news is fucking phenomenal. Lithgow is a terrific actor, comedy and drama. Im so happy we'll get to see him be delicious and evil, didnt he play the bag guy in some movie? cant remember
oh shut the fuck up douchebag. You stop being a stereotypical drunk from the midwest
and I was talking about this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105217/
but he was also the bad guy in "Cliffhanger" too!
I missed most of season 3...any good?
my dad said he saw the guy from dexter behind him in line for merch at the wilco concert in pomona at the fox.
Oh my god netflix needs to hurry up with the last season so I can catch up.
I cant believe he's having a kid. What a storyline!!
hahaha. I need to catch up too.
First episode is already online
It kills me that I can never participate in this thread because I am always a season behind. I just watched the episode where Miguel tells Dexter he knows he killed the guy he couldn't convict, and is proud of him. Fucking awesome episode.
First episode of new season was good. This going to be a very interesting season.
Is anyone current? I watched the 1st episode of the latest season last night, watching again now - it is fucking fantastic. John Lithgow is going to be great on this show! For me, season 3 lost momentum and it took me a while to get around to watching all of the episodes. It did get interesting near the end. But this season looks like there will be so many different stories going on and I just love it when there is another serial killer being hunted that is just as intriguing as Dexter and is in the show as a central character (ice truck killer).
I absolutely love how this show keeps evolving and gains so much more character development and storyline.
